- End of an era! Unfortunately the track will be closing the gates to make way for new housing to be built. The jump competition has always been very popular around the world and many will be sad to see it go!
The winner of this last one was Kevin Lording, his tool for the jump was a Honda Civic
The rules are simple, jump the highest and furthest to win!

Similar shit happened to race track in Lublin, Poland. in 2006 First flats were made near track (100 meters away and dumb ppl bought them, presumably knowing it will be noise here) then track was finally forced to be shut down due to many complains. EDIT: It was really shameful because there are/were only a few serious/professional circuits in Poland.
Genuinely gutted to hear that this track will be lost forever. Thank you for capturing the memories mate.
What a pity this wonderful events won´t take place here anymore. It´s really sad... I hope they will find another place to go on. God bless you all.
What a shame this track has had to close. One of the best and most entertaining banger tracks on RUclips, particularly as many of the cars are almost straight off the street.
stuff the housing. plenty of other land to occupy. but this? THIS is a rarity... i love it. me n the missus were having a right laugh at these clips. sad to see its ended... and people wonder why the hooning goes to the streets. 😔
What are the odds that this will go the same way as Arena Essex? Bought out for a housing development, only to find that the soil is contaminated with oil, and it costs too much to fix, so the houses never get built, and the track is left abandoned
Seems to be no matter where you are the world, the Council make shit decisions and ruin things!
Arena has a massive sewer underneath that cannot be built on for houses without major work being done. Nothing to do with oil.
Always has to be yet more dullard housing that no-one can afford, ruining things. And it's gone & ruined this track here, which has brought a lot of happiness to many, now being told to bugger off for the usual unaffordable housing nonsense. Hopefully it'll end up somewhere else & can continue, but either way it is just a waste of a great place, being taken over by the usual garbage as mentioned before.
More than likely housing for the droves of immigrants England is letting through its gates right now.

This place was a massive part of my childhood. The smell of the fresh doughnuts being made as you walk past all the cars being warmed up was great. That and being covered in carbon and crap from the track after a full days racing, water was almost black in the shower! Good times.

What... a... shame! 'Angmering' was always a 'trademark of quality' for me and I haven't found another place on RUclips yet where they use roadworthy vehicles (including windscreen and the lot) for nudge & spin action. Perhaps not as much speed as in other places and without the excitement of follow-ins and all that stuff, but I loved watching the videos (and often watch old ones again and again), so Angmering will stay 'alive' for me.
True, it was fun to watch cars straight from the road and also many events were more actual racing than hitting stalled vehicles like they wanted to kill each other.
I love that they used every normal day cars that are horrible to look at

No big loss it's a 2.0 CDTI absolutely shite engines. Was probably losing oil pressure like they all do so decided to send it off this way.
Oh no! Grew up near Arlington circuit. Love the bangers. Got into your channel about a fortnight ago. The kids love it. So wanted to come to the real thing (we're still fairly local). Long live brilliant, slightly silly traditions like this in general! Maybe the car jump will reappear somewhere else one day. Traditions that go sometimes return!

It's sad to read that this was the last one and to learn that the track will become a housing project. That's happened too often here in the states. Friends have asked me what I've been doing with my extra spare time, now that I'm retired from my job--they don't understand that watching these jumping videos and the Oval Banger videos are important.... This is the craziest game, we in Indonesia just want to have a car and we haven't achieved it, we have to save for years, this car is still worth it for us, but it gets destroyed like this. If it were given to us, we would definitely like it and be very grateful. I'm from Indonesia

its probably more rust than steel underneath, its what we get in the UK for dumping tons of salt on the roads everytime there is even a chance of a frost

What a shame to hear the track will close. People from all over the world love this track, and love to watch the races on it. It's a real shame nothing can be done against to people in charge of the area pushing their weight around. I'd personally hire a lawyer and take them to court over it. This track deserves to live, without a doubt.
In the mean time, I'm glad we had one last send off for everyone involved. Thank you all for the entertainment.
Someone should 3d scan the track or take 100s of photos so it can be digitally preserved. Look up assetto corsa photogrammetry and how you can make an area with some video/photos.

Family fun for all probably being replaced with immigrant housing for those who don't appreciate what they have been given. Loved watching the jumps and fun.
My family and I were there. I would like to send my best wishes to Lil and all of the team at O.R.C. I went to the same secondary school as Lil and remember her well, she was certainly a character! In later years my wife, a teacher, taught her daughter. It saddens me greatly to know it's coming to an end, and all to build a few houses, probably to house the hordes of illegals flooding into our country. The whole day was amazing. I hope there is footage of the caravans at the end of the day, that race was insane!

I know how you feel... i was there when Ruisbroek Speedway had to close down because of the harbor expanding.. the government promised a new plot.. but it never came to fruition...

if u stop the video at the right time near the end u might see a girl wearing green well that girl is me and the owners are my aunts and their dad i have grown up with this racetrack since i was born and what made me even more sad is when i found out it was closing i started crying for hours and i can truly say i was not ready for this place to go it was so close to my heart then i found out it was gonna be gone forever but now me rewatching these videos makes me remember when i was the happiest person i can say this i truly miss this racetrack because like my aunts said it’s not just their racetrack it’s everyone’s. Goodbye racetrack i will miss u ❤️🩹❤️🩹
