First reasonable video on this election I've seen the entire election cycle. Thanks! I feel like there are scapegoats being created for a possible Harris loss when there were small missteps by her campaign, and the overt racism of the U.S., that could accumulate to a loss, without one group or factor beyond bigotry to blame
I'm seeing this in real time in FL... 1. despite what the ads say, the first Kamala bumper sticker I saw was on a Black man's work truck. 2. Those "your vote, your secret" ads have it backwards, if 2016 was any indication - bc iirc a not-insignificant number of ww (and men) talked a good ally game in public then secretly voted for the other guy -__- 3. Meanwhile on top of this we've got the Dems doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by "chasing moderate Republican votes" by making their policies more and more regressive on Israel, immigration, public assistance, etc. It's giving Obama, and not in a good way 😔
I remember first learning how Stanton and Anthony refused to follow Douglas' advice in advocating for the black vote - after he did so much for them! That's when I realized whyte women have historically been, and currently are, not only complicit, but instigate r8cism.
You're right, politics stinks, and the tragedy of our time is that you can't sell someone their own shame. So, in order to beat this trap, you gotta do what you would never do, hold your nose, and start fishing with the stinky bait. Every real trap assumes you're gonna do what is only reasonable that you would. A trap built on othering, isn't hampered by disdain.
Its abhorrent and I'm ashamed. I hate those ads. My grandfather was a racist white republican and a horrid violent man and a tyrant but I remember my grandmother telling me she voted Democrat and that was her "secret". She was complicit to his abuse of her children and grandchildren and it all falls in line with her never standing up to him for the horrible things he did to us. The fact that democrats run those ads to appeal to those same sort of complicit women disgusts me. Im a straight ticket democratic voter and have voted in every election since I was old enough in 2008. This election has me terrified. I cant trust or respect any person who would vote for Trump.

It’s democrat’s own fault if they lose for not actually focusing and enacting policies that the majority of American would support and be helped by. These policies are fairly “new deal” anti-rich, anti-corporate profits and pro-democratic reforms that would make it easier for a wider range of political positions and policies to be important. Which is why the Democratic Party, which is also fundamentally a pro-business and pro-economic establishment party, consistently try to pander towards the center… which is to the RIGHT. And most white democrats and their media demonize this position, refusing to recognize how this just plays into hands of the people in power has never actually forced them to reform that power progressively. It’s always been pressuring the system from the OUTSIDE that has lead to progress INSIDE.
Unfortunately there are lots of communities in this country where yes, that *is* considered to be the case. The husband is the head of the household and the wife must 'submit' in all things. Of course, in these communities the women are living in the same bubble so why would they want to vote for harris either, idk
Yes, there's a lot of emphasis in these very conservative, Christian communities on the husband being the "head of the household" and being responsible for all interactions and decisions of that household with the wider community, including political decisions. I don't know if you've noticed that some of the criticisms of certain conservatives includes references to the fact that they are aligned with or coming from groups that float the idea of removing the franchise from women and returning to (as they phrase it) a "one household, one vote" system. That's not to say that many of the women in those marriages or households don't believe that as well. Having been raised in these hyper religious, hyper nationalistic, hyper racist communities, many of them do unfortunately believe all the rhetoric about "replacement theory", woke virus, "feminism is the source of every bad thing in America" (and if it's not the feminists, it must be the gays or those trans people), etc. The ads are hoping to catch those who might be willing to vote against their husband's interests because of something directly affecting women's interests, namely health care and abortion. We know that they are voting against their own interests on many other issues as well but the hope is that this is a direct enough line between the issue and their health and safety that they see the connection and vote in their own interests for once.🤞
Politics as is plays out in this democracy does stink. I've been voting since 1978 and every time I think, 'oh, things won't get that bad' I am proven wrong. I am white, grew up on the border and my view of the world has changed through the decades. I really pray that VP Harris wins, and we are finally done with the scourge that is the cheetoh and his ilk - at least for a while.
The crazy thing is that no one is attacking Indian men for not supporting her. Her own people are not supporting, yet they attack black men, attempting to laying a guilt trip.
Some cultures are highly patriarchal. They don’t believe in woman having a position of power or authority. So they would be difficult to persuade. But lots of black men have or know people who were raised by a black woman and can’t understand how they could support someone that is a racist.
My guess is it has to do with people of Southeast Asia Indian descent making up less than 2% of the population. You may be completely correct, but their smaller size means they are less focused on than the black community, which is somewhere between 13-15% of the US population. Though white women make up about 30% of the population, so they still have about double the voting power of both those groups combined.
Not necessarily crazy. What's the size of the Indian voting demographic versus the Black voting demographic? I honestly don't know about the former, but the latter is massive; it's very common that they're largely ignored (at best) until needed.
I don't have respect for anybody that votes for Trump, especially if you're Black. I think most people aren't surprised that a white person (women or men) will vote for Trump. Unfortunately I have seen too many Black men talking about voting for Trump and wearing maga hats, even getting beat up by other white trumpsters. I do know that a lot of Black Men are voting for Kamala as well.
The issue is that you are saying you'll lose respect because of their choice. It's their choice on who they want to vote for. It's Harris or Trump's job to earn that vote. You "having no respect" just because they didn't vote the way you expected of them is a scary thought. Before people were black or white or anything in between, people were people. People are people and can think for themselves. If either candidate loses, it's because they didn't convince enough voters to pick them.
@dragonhero14 Let's not start the "i don't see color" or "we're all part of the human race" rhetoric. We get that the topic may be uncomfortable for you. Unfortunately, it is our reality. I don't have to respect the choices of those who vote against others' human rights or try to justify those horrible actions.
@@CammieB520 I never said those things. My point was that they are real people who should be allowed to make whatever choice they want for their lives. To note with your second comment, the problem with this election cycle is that you can argue that both sides have an issue with human rights and justifying horrible actions. Part of the problem besides rampant money in government is the fact that both Republicans and Democrats(the politicians) don't hold themselves accountable. The Republicans didn't hold Obama accountable for the use of drones or bombings. Obama didn't hold Bush or Cheney accountable for their literal unwarranted crimes against humanity. Obama went to Flint, MI and said that the water was clean, but he lied. Snyder was never brought to justice for his poor governance that caused it. They can only do this because they now know that the voter will "just vote for what's best" or "the least worst option". Often the politicians you get are a result of the voters. Voters have to demand better of their candidates.
TRUTH!! I love the comparison. Stink bait works for the con man. Ur right, it's not Black men who won't vote for women's rights. I believe some may not hv bn involved & that's the message. Get involved!

Boosting. I read They Were Her Property because of this channel
That book was horrific but I still highly recommend it.
Eye opening book for sure.
SUN!!! the way you build arguments and points on logic and history and critical thinking just sends me!!! A TING OF BEAUTY!!!
💯 FACTS
I hope you’re right.
I know there’s the stats, but what’s entirely different from 2020 is Kevin Samuels pulled a lot of black men into Manosphere content, which largely markets conservative politics.
💯
I'm seeing this in real time in FL...
1. despite what the ads say, the first Kamala bumper sticker I saw was on a Black man's work truck.
2. Those "your vote, your secret" ads have it backwards, if 2016 was any indication - bc iirc a not-insignificant number of ww (and men) talked a good ally game in public then secretly voted for the other guy -__-
3. Meanwhile on top of this we've got the Dems doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by "chasing moderate Republican votes" by making their policies more and more regressive on Israel, immigration, public assistance, etc. It's giving Obama, and not in a good way 😔
Correct as usual....
Truth speaker, I thank you❣️
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Thank You... that's what I've been saying.
Well...what else is left to be said? Its all out in the open and has been for some time. Will people hear or will they forbear?
As a ww..I agree with this messaging.
I remember first learning how Stanton and Anthony refused to follow Douglas' advice in advocating for the black vote - after he did so much for them! That's when I realized whyte women have historically been, and currently are, not only complicit, but instigate r8cism.
The media.
Omg so scary
Well said. WELL SAID INDEED!
Brother Sunn, you came with a word today!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
If you can't vote for a woman, vote for Tim.
AMEN!!!! Thank you. Thank you.
I appreciate this.
Thanks!
I honestly there will be trouble either way
Facts!
Thank you! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I voted early for Kamala, but I'm Hispanic. I always love when Prof M'cheaux points out yet another way that I'm not like other white women. They're just embarrassing!
In order to enjoy any benefits, you have to be alive and/or free to do so. Blk Trump supporters and WW Trump supporters should consider carefully.
yeah to make sure they dont follow a system that gives them the thoughts they should make, most of the people who call for the anti white stuff are... white guys.
❤👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Democrats are asking for a loss. My jaws dropped with them sending Bill Clinton and Richie Torres to Michigan🤦🏾♀️
Clinton, as an ex president and former face of the party makes sense. But I never heard anyone say "I bet Richie fucking Torres can be the unifying voice we need in this moment."
This video was very clear that majority of bm won’t vote trump I’m happy to hear
It’s fascinating to me how women, woman n female is being used in these comments but not a direct wh!te woman/women let the table had been turned n Black women were the ones to vote trump against our own best interest or that of everyone there would had been no shortage of clarification of woman, simply fascinating, this video hid no secrets the Professor was very direct
preach🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I feel shamed and blamed. I hate Liz Cheney. I voted for Kamala.
White woman for Harris 💙
What I don’t under is how the ads trying to appeal to white women are acting as if they can’t act outside of their husband’s will. Like what???
Brilliantly put as usual, great metaphor, like always.😢
Hook, line, and stinker!
YEP 💯
Wow!
Bim!❤❤❤😂😂😂
The media
The people, the people are stupid, I blame us all
✌️💙
Politics as is plays out in this democracy does stink. I've been voting since 1978 and every time I think, 'oh, things won't get that bad' I am proven wrong. I am white, grew up on the border and my view of the world has changed through the decades. I really pray that VP Harris wins, and we are finally done with the scourge that is the cheetoh and his ilk - at least for a while.
Bravo! Well said.
🏆
Obama was angry that he thought Black men wouldn’t vote for Kamala lmao
preach it, professor!
Shes gonna win and I dont see it being through popular vote
They cannot change anything. On the ground she does have their vote. They lean democrat, but we will see.
She locked up black men for smoking weed and with evidence to keep a black man on death row
Brilliant breakdown.
@@dragonhero14You must love fascism.
@@CammieB520 And we don't have to respect you either 👍
And that's why a lot of Black men are taking issue with how you are talking "at" them.
I think that’s what they’re doing. They’re just using vinegar (stink Jim) with black men, and honey with Euro women. Like the ad you showed.
It's more carrots and sticks. Carrots for euro women and sticks for black men.
Hello
TRUTH!! I love the comparison. Stink bait works for the con man. Ur right, it's not Black men who won't vote for women's rights. I believe some may not hv bn involved & that's the message. Get involved!
As a non-black man, I didn't see any of the ads targeted towards black men or towards women. It's bullshit that women are given a gentle nudge while the ads aimed at black men are talking down to you. Either both should be rude or (preferably) neither.
Haven't you gone too far with the "women have it easy" whining? No one respects whiners.
@@lbarnx You must be confused, on two fronts. Firstly, I'm not saying "women have it easy" here; I'm saying women and black men are being held to two different standards by these political ads, and that that's wrong. Secondly, saying I've "gone too far" makes it sound like I say "women have it easy" regularly, which I simply don't. If you're cyberstalking someone, you've mistaken me for them.
Bla bla bla bla bla 😂
Why does the comparison make me think of the song 'do your ⚽'s hang low' ? 🤦🤷♀️
I just want to say I love you ❤
