- It seems like ages since we did that 14-mile water carry. Day 13 on the Pinhoti Trail brings us more water than we could imagine. There’s one creek crossing after another. It’s a pleasure to get my feet wet and cool down in the hot, humid weather.

I loved that campground
I love Darn Tough socks, its all I wear anymore. Having sore feet is the worst.
Thank you for featuring the Coleman Lake Campground. I have never stayed there, but that is a great option for people. I love that section of trail. Happy Hiking
I have heard that Alabama has more surface water than any other state. After seeing your videos and doing several hikes here myself I can believe it.
I am doing a 14.2 miler in Sipsey Wilderness Area tomorrow hopefully. The "Land of a 1000 Waterfalls".
Thanks for the video!
Wow, it sure got overgrown quickly. We went through there a couple weeks before you and it wasn't that bad. I think this is going to be a bad year for the ticks. I've had more ticks on me in the past couple weeks than I've had in an entire year. 😬
