Yes, you need to register business in USA if you want to create Amazon-US seller account. Also, you will need US bank account to recieve payments from Amazon.

@@onlyRomix They will ask your residential address which should be a US-address and your ID. And most importantly they will ask for US bank account details with 2 months bank statement for verification.
Even if you bypass all this process somehow, your account will be suspended anytime and all your money will be stuck till you complete the verification.

This method is for US based Amazon FBA. A US registered company builds a better repo and more trust among the customers.
Otherwise you can go for Amazon global selling from India only, but that requires a complex process because Indian business registration is a not smooth and highly taxed. And profit margins are near to zero if you are not the manufacturer.

It depends on your requirements and your business location. If you are sourcing from India then you can use indian account and if you are sourcing products from China then you should use US bank account.

Since you are a manufacturer and planning to ship yourself, you can contact Amazon seller central in India and join Amazon global selling program.
But you'll have to pay higher shipping cost and taxes. And you are required to register business in USA because GST is required in Amazon India.

No you are wrong bro it’s not compulsory that your business have to registered in USA
Even if you register your business in india you can do amazon fba usa
If I'm wrong then please set an example for all of us by creating your US-Amazon FBA account with Indian registered business.

However, I strongly believe that it's not possible because if you want to sell on Amazon.com then you need US registered business. With Indian registered business you can sell on amazon.in only. You must be talking about Amazon export program which let's you sell from India to anywhere in the world. But in that case your product will have higher shipping charges for customers because it has to be shipped from one country to other country. (Why would a customer order same product with high shipping charges?)
