The advertising for it when it originally aired must have been terrible because I never thought of it as funny before the shorts. Saw a clip of Harvey cracking on Louis and I was sold.
I found Suits when Patrick and Gabriel interviewed on Morning Joe when it was originally airing, but wound up picking it up again around season 4 on Netflix, and the show is so damn good.
same thing happened with Community. i watched both these shows when they were on. great shows are great shows and sometimes they are not marketed correctly and the audience just doesnt find them
He is definitely wrong categorizing it as "not the kind of tv people would watch." The problem was there were so many shows running on USA at the time that were good and you couldn't keep up with them all. Between all the smoking weed and going out every night eventually you fall behind on some shows whether it was burn notice, suits, psych, or what have you. So when suits came through on netflix I, and many others, got to start it all over again and actually finish it. Great show.
That was when USA was like oooo Here's a banger and boom here's another banger, oh you thought you were free Thursday night boom here's another banger lol. You worded it perfectly.
The thing about Suits on Netflix in my opinion is that it made the show available for everyone everywhere. What I mean is that... I know Suits broadcast here in Spain, because the show is dubbed on Netflix so it must definitely have been released at some point, but I have 0 idea of when or where it was on. And this happens with a lot of shows btw. Community for example was broadcast in like a local channel in Madrid and nowhere else or some shit like that. That's why we use to pirate so much shit back then, because you never knew where anything was on, when it was on or if a show you liked was even on anywhere in your country. It was weird, specially because here it wasn't as common (up until very recently) to have "cable" or whatever it's called at home. But now that people can actually watch it it has found an audience.
The explosion of Suits, coincided with the Megan Markle/Prince Harry documentaries that were the topic of every show in the world, that's not a coincidence. Suits also lends itself to the RUclips short clips where they show some cool moments.
I watched three seasons and realized the plot is just "oh, someone found out", "oh, we got away with it" stretched over multiple episodes and turned it off.
It was very engaging for a while, but I agree. How many times can these people create a problem by not answering a simple question, jump to insane conclusions despite knowing that conclusion is crazy, always forget that Louis is an asshole, or do any other stupid thing that forces a situation all the people on the show should be smart enough to avoid. And don't forget the million times they use the "all is lost, but this random conversation just triggered a thought thats going to fix everything" trope. Such lazy writing. I had a good time with it for a few seasons, but I can only take so many forced situations and intentionally dumbed down characters. Unfortunately this is the way that most shows go nowadays. Written for the lowest common denominator that needs everything spelled out for them and crave forced drama. The CBS/CSI set... the people that made Two and a half men (the worst show of all time) a juggernaught, and the same people that think they're smart because they watch big bang theory.
Except there is a lot of collateral damage and people do go down. Can’t really call all of it getting away with it when so much stuff actually turn to shit and bad things do happen.
All (well, almost all) the characters in the show were great, but the secret sauce was THE BROMANCE; Mike Ross and Harvey Specter! Enjoyed the series a hell of a lot.
Netflix has that power to take a show that as good but didn't get enough expose and 10-100x it. I think if Snowfall was ever on Netflix it would explode in popularity.
There’s something about watching suits this period that just makes it more enjoyable I don’t know if it’s the nostalgia Or just the good old early 2011 vibes from the first season when shows were just about heart and not pandering
This is why these people deserve residuals from netflix. You could star on a show and make peanuts, and then years later it can blow up now. And what netflix who is just renting the rights to the show, put no effort in. Deserves all the cash. And then they just keep all that money and dont invest it into new shows so that meople acctually get work. The film industry is already 14 hours minimum for every behind the scenes worker. And we want more work
Suits Has a rewatchabilty unlike any other show It has good characters And it isn't a legal show like the good wife etcc Which is boring It mixes bravado with a little law and show takes off
For the host: why would you (and many others) mock the italian accent all the time? not every Italian has this strong thick accent when they speak English. I mean, German and Spanish have an accent too and almost every non native speaker has one. Jeez. ps. good Johnny Depp impression!
Suits is for dumb people who don’t like to think when they watch a show. The writing is just so juvenile. It’s spoon-feeding for college kids fighting a hangover.
Adam - Grow your characters & comedy instead of interviewing people. Spontaneous comedy is the best and u are a Goat. Just my opinion. Ps; Loved Elaine!!!!!
Why not do both? He’s a good interviewer and he’s funny plus it’s not like it’s negatively affecting the output of his comedy content …he’s been putting out tons of comedy vids over the past few weeks granted most of it isn’t all new but still …just my opinion though

Why are you linking us to this very channel?
RUclips shorts was definitely the MVP for helping out
Truee it got hyped in shorts before it was even added to netflix
The advertising for it when it originally aired must have been terrible because I never thought of it as funny before the shorts. Saw a clip of Harvey cracking on Louis and I was sold.
Yeah my entire interest in starting the show was seeing RUclips shorts for scenes and I liked the dialogue
@@TheSchnozGobbler false, i watched it on Netflix in like 2017 or 2018, before the even finished the show
@@loganmcdougall9738 then it got taken off and added back like last year, genius
I found Suits when Patrick and Gabriel interviewed on Morning Joe when it was originally airing, but wound up picking it up again around season 4 on Netflix, and the show is so damn good.
Louis litt is hilarious
same thing happened with Community. i watched both these shows when they were on. great shows are great shows and sometimes they are not marketed correctly and the audience just doesnt find them
Adam Ray getting all up in this.... we'll be right back.

What a great combo. Love these two people
They need to get a "Suits" movie together ASAP.
Most binge watchable ever 😂😂

It was youtube shorts and the geniuses who make those accounts.
If he makes a photography book of Suits I will buy it in a heartbeat!
TikToks and Shorts are somewhat responsible as well
Loved the original run, hope they bring it back. The spinoff series "Pearson" with Jessica was pretty good too 👍
Sadly canceled and only one season runned. I don't understand why it had so much hate back in the day, the show definetely had a huge potential.
Please do a photo book I would definitely buy it. I’ve watched suits from the beginning

where's the full episode?
Telling the casting director, etc. how hard you'd work was so smart...and worth it! :)

Seems like how a lot of shows that I watched were. If two people just talked, the entire episode could have been avoided.
Show jumped the shark by season 6
Isn’t that every show ever….
can't believe this guy is dr. phil. Love your stuff!
I still think suits has one of the best pilot episodes of all time
I’m sure the fact your co star is a Royal now.
House, Dexter, and supernatural are in the same boat
All (well, almost all) the characters in the show were great, but the secret sauce was THE BROMANCE; Mike Ross and Harvey Specter! Enjoyed the series a hell of a lot.

I’m watching it now on season 5 and I LOVE IT
I watched suits from the beginning everyone was great on there.
I saw season 1 thru 7 live tv it was amazing show.
where's the full interview??
There’s something about watching suits this period that just makes it more enjoyable
I don’t know if it’s the nostalgia
Or just the good old early 2011 vibes from the first season when shows were just about heart and not pandering
He should play Batman Beyond
He would have been great, unfortunately he’s too old now. They need a fresh faced 18 year old to play Terry now.
Watching final episode tonight
😂...mega pint 9:18
where is the full interview?
Yes, so many shows are dark and exhausting. It is nice to have something lighter.
I just saw it. Great show.
Love, Love this show!
South Africa was on it from the beginning
Favorite show
I am just wrapping up the third time watching all 9 seasons of Suits . And this from a guy who barely watches the same movie twice. Awesome show !!
Great show! I believe I’m responsible for 50% of watched time so far 😂😂
The mic settings gives him a lisp lmao
channing tatum really does good podcasts
Suits was 💥🎉
Suits❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

He hasn’t aged
He was so hot in Take Me Out
Suits
Has a rewatchabilty unlike any other show
It has good characters
And it isn't a legal show like the good wife etcc
Which is boring
It mixes bravado with a little law and show takes off
Found it on RUclips shorts
Every dude wants to be Harvey
And every girl wants Harvey
Brother i start watching because of youtube shorts , not netflix
I've never heard of it, bud. Can't fool me, guy. Pal.
Amazing that none of them have really gone on to anything of substance
Found suits on peacock…..not netflix
Lol errrrm it's 7 seasons with you Mr Adams, the show ran for 9 seasons.
does no one have peacock lmfao
It was a good show for the first few seasons but to me it got old fast.
Suits, Breaking Bad and Friday Night Lights are shows who didn't really get popular until they got on Netflix.
lol Fran Kranz is the worst.
Dude’s whole personality is Suits.

stop saying "like" all the time. bad habit my guy
no.
I don't understand why this show is so popular. The writing was contrived, banal, bleh...
I really watched when it aired and feel like a prophet cuz i knew it was great before all u newbies😂😂😂
