All this discussion is waste . Placement dependes on industry demand and institute's filter criteria applied while selection of candidate. Top 10% of iit Bombay talent is way ahead of bits pilani while reverse is true for bottom 10% students. So iit Bombay had 22 offers above 1 cr bits pilani had none. Similarly lowest salary in iit Bombay is 4 lac while in bits pilani is 10 lac.
