Siren (PS2) [Full Soundtrack]

- Siren, or Forbidden Siren outside the U.S., was a great horror game for the PS2, heavy in Japanese mythology and definitely confusing. While it had its flaws, some of us coming fresh off of Silent Hill 2 needed our horror fix wherever we could get it.
Full disclosure: this is not one of the two official soundtracks that I know of. I /believe/ it's a fan edit by someone called Macabre Productions, but you would hardly know it by the quality of the editing and the audio itself. I can't find a thing about this fan edit online, so if anyone has info, let me know and I'll post a link.
Artist: Hitomi Shimizu
I do not own the original source, and I do not monetize my videos.

Been listening to this video for 3 years now as a source of inspiration for the stuff I write. I was wonder/hoping if anyone was going to timestamp each song and I’m excited that someone actually put in the time to do it. Many thanks!
@@ticflixproductions2989 You're welcome! I'm working on a japanese themed horrorish project too, and this video has been incredibly helpful when it comes to inspiration.
53:29 is my fav
I remember hearing this in the menu for CDDA and kept trying to find it ever since. This timestamp saved me tons of time, thanks.
for sure
Terrifyingly Brilliant! One complex mix. Best horror ost I've ever heard
Outstanding, truly a gem. A solid trilogy, too. Nice mix there!
Is it strange that I go to sleep to this ost I love how calming it is
time to go, hospital it´s calling darling.
you ill
It is kind of strange, yes... This is unsettling to say the least but, ok... 😂
Strange? Nah.
Just make sure you're waking up in the same plane of existence/reality/dimension you feel asleep in.
I hear that can be a problem.
Sometimes.
Also, maybe don't make any profoundly strong wishes about "changing up your life" or "that your life wasn't so boring and formulaic," or "...That something exciting would happen."
That last one is especially gonna bork you hard."
I came for this 26:50
Excellent
You should put the timestamp for each track in the track list.
I will get around doing it myself
27:45 sounds eerily like sections from Silent Hill 2 and 3. I don't really mind.
Absolutely
It’s actually the same sample. Akira loves that little fragment and always alters it and changes it’s pitch in many creative ways. In always thought it was an original melody of his, but it’s a sample
@@auvelier Hitomi Shimizu Did the music for Siren Not Akira Yamaoka. Though Keiichi Toyama created Silent Hill he left after the first game and made this one.
I forgot to mention a lot of composers probably sample songs or sounds that is on the free market or maybe with permission that I actually don't know. Sometimes they have others help create their music but they get head billing. I am sure it is similar to D.Js who create music with other pieces of music.
The Crazy Obsessed Wife of these games
@@koryhawkins1499we are actually saying the same thing, buddy: the OG commenter says that it sounds similar to silent hill and my comment is to say that it’s the same music sample that Akira yamaoka used to create various iconic pieces. The composer of siren just happened to use the very same sample
beautiful
Musica boa para dormir. Muito bom!
01:16:42 wtf that scared the hell out of me
Muy buen juego y ost
Esto es un tesoro.
Hola! Te gustó el juego? Cuál es tu opinión?
@@MrResidente15 me encanta el tono de suspenso, ademas del terror... como cuenta la historia al estilo Lovecraft que atrapa.
the buster goes hard
Se existe um criador que habita nos infinitos, ele está se borrifando para o seu povo, ou seja, ele nem se quer sabe que nós existimos, assim como nós não sabemos quantas células temos no corpo.
Excuse me. What is the name of the song before the Siren in 0:20?
Unfortunately, I've no idea. I don't remember it even being in the game itself, but then I haven't played Siren in a very long time.
Dark Cold Soul it plays when you put that needle on that record player to distract the armed Shibito as Tamon Takeuchi in the Shibito nest, I forgot which mission it was though.

Which track is it @29 min?
6) Cowering From Sight, As The Evil Approaches. Sorry, I'm not great at this whole YT thing, so I didn't have a convenient way to figure out timestamps.
