🙋👍🏹♥️🌄☕ first vid of the day. Excellent. Really like the wide variety of aircraft. That was quite a collection. I'll take a f22 rapto😁, but the f15e will Do. Like them all🤷. That was a sweet Vid. Thanks y'all
This was amazing. Thank you for sharing it. Ohhhh and it was so funny when you said that you didn’t know how you had been married to Mr. Martini so long. 😅. I think that about Joel sometimes too. 😂😂😂
Wonder why they don't clean up the oil inside also. It seems like they would do that after all these years. It's sad seeing it like this and realizing all the people who died. That is something to be said for a food truck, but those tacos looked great. The ship seems so much bigger than you would think. I can see why you wouldn't be able to see it all in one day. I have to say, nothing looked comfortable on that ship. It has to be pretty interesting to be on one of those military ships with all of those big guns etc.. Tell Mr. Martini, no more jokes. lol Captain's log was pretty good though! lol I think we'd enjoy seeing all the machinery and airplanes. Very gool tour, thanks for taking us along!!
We are so pleased that you enjoyed it. After 36 years of marriage I don't think I can get him to stop doing the jokes. Sometimes things come out of his mouth and I can't believe he just said that. Such as Captain's log
I’ve been on an Iowa class battleship USS Alabama and yes, it was an audible class battleship first ship of the Iowa class was the USS Iowa. You’re one of her sisters
Very indescribable experience ! Until you see it and see how it happened and what took place that morning ! It’s unreal the horror that our people went through! The loss of innocent soldiers, citizens and children ! Totally uncalled for ! But in the end we got you back and toasted your rice cakes !
Amazing tour Mr & Mrs Martini! Loved the planes at the museum especially the ones showing the effects of the war. Good tip on the advance tickets - wonder how many of those waiting actually got in?
Great tour around the area. We were there last February but wasn’t able to see the ship and the museum. You’re right , 1day is nốt enough especially there’s a long lineup to every attraction. I like to go back and see the museum in person. Looks like you guys enjoyed the tour. Still lots of planes to come out as they are refurbishing more.
I remember my trip to the memorial back in '88. I treated that visit as I would do any graveyard. It was a gray, somber kind of day. Kinda spooky really. I was floored by the wall and the names etched in to it. I was rather awestruck. A memory that will never leave me. The other thing that unfortunately stuck with me were the "Non-US" tourists who were loud, disrespectful and outright rude in public, let alone in a memorial like this. Being the hard a$$ I am, I was quick to point out that they WILL be quiet, respectful or I would feed them to the fish in very short order even if I get arrested for it. May our sailors and Marines rest in joyous peace with our father above.
What an amazing memorial. I wonder why they did not pump the oil out of the USS Arizona! I see that some people are still wearing masks. Great massive Battleship. Patrick has quite a bit of knowledge about the ship. The Powder Magazine, wow! That is a lot of Gun Powder that would be stored. 🤣 22:21 There is Mr Martini Shooting blanks! Great Jets! Not much of the Japanese plane. A great aviation Museum Denise and Patrick. Thank you for taking us along. 🙏🏼👍🏼🤗♥
Why masks 7 months ago ???? This was the quickest tour and least informative. Must be on a cruise ship. Been on 4 battleships and it took at least 5 hours for the fastest tour. Subscriber chasers
I've been to Pearl Harbor twice, But Bill hasn't been to Hawaii. It is such a moving experience. You had such good information. The ships have become part of the ocean environment. I never visited the SS Missouri or the Aviation museaum either time we visited Hawaii. Both were very interesting.
We missed the airplane museum when we were at Pearl Harbor about 5 years ago. I LOVE the thumbnail that you use in this video. Also happy to see that you can still go out to see Arizona. I heard that it had drifted a bit after a storm a a few years ago.
I loved the airplane museum. It is well worth a stop. Thank you about the thumbnail. I loved that shot. I hadn't heard that about the drift. I will ask my sister about that. She lives there
Hello Martini’s 🤗 What a Great Video showing Pearl Harbor. I was blessed to visit it back in 91 and even there to get into see stuff ya had to go early or the lines were crazy and ya just spent the entire day about waiting. It has really been great getting to see it again through your camera lens and to even get to see more and with a better view even in some ways 😁 Definitely didn’t get all the laughter I have enjoyed going around with you two. I'm Australian, and visited O'ahu last week. I went to Pearl Harbour and was appropriately moved. My Dad was a Navy and Airforce buff and spoke often about Mighty Mo, I am so sad that I couldn't talk to him about it, as he passed away last year😢. It was a pity that Hanger 79 was undergoing renovations, so it wasn't open to the public. The Arizona, Missouri, Aviation museum and the sub Bowfin, were all impressive to experience 👌🤗. I thought it interesting that one of the big knobs got his own room with a double bed and his own ensuite 😳😅. Omg, too funny, "Captains log" 😅.
GREAT video! I do have to correct a few things that were said in the video. The movie Under Siege was mostly filmed aboard the battleship USS Alabama because the Missouri was still active at the time. The Alabama (BB-60) is a South Dakota class battleship that is VERY similar to the Iowa class (Missouri is an Iowa class). The plane shot down in the movie was an F/A-18 Hornet. Also, Missouri was featured in the movie Battleship and they did a GREAT job showing a little taste of her true firepower. The turret accident mentioned was aboard the USS Iowa (BB-61) in 1989. It happened in the #2 gun in the #2 turret and killed 47 sailors. The entire incident and investigation was a coverup from the word go. There are WAY too many red flags for it not to be. The Iowa class battleships were and probably still could be the most concentrated amount of CONVENTIONAL (surface) floating firepower in the world. The survivability of these ships are beyond comparison and they can do some SERIOUS damage in action. Just ask the enemies she went up against in 3 different wars. Before people say an aircraft carrier is more powerful, no it is NOT. An aircraft carrier PROJECTS firepower. IS2 (SW) US Navy
