I'm experiencing same problems since I have bought T7 this year. Have tried quite some aftermarket parts. Out of all of them, cheap aliexpress windscreen deflector worked best so far. But it gives me flimsy vibes, like it's going to mount itself off the bike and hit me in the helmet. 😅 I have also tried Puig Visor 2.0 which has T7 in promo video - so it should certainly fit right... but it didn't fit at all, way to big for the T7 windscreen to be mounted on.... just wth! I have also tried WRS sport (low) windscreen in combination with WRS side deflectors by suggestions from some forum posts where people claimed it helped out significantly regarding wind bufetting. In my case it made at maximum 5% improvement. So for now I am stuck with that windscreen extension, which look like 💩! 😂 But it is a serious problem. I have experienced ringing ears as well. What a shame since I like the bike a lot. Cheers!
It's very top heavy and bulky honestly I enjoyed the TW200 more. I think the 300 is the sweet spot. The 200 took me on many multi-hour rides just fine so a 300 would be even better
@tomalba7 If I am like 180/181 cm which is 5'11 should I go for this D2145S or the taller one, D2145ST? I bought the same "premium" earplugs lol. Do you still have T7 with this windscreen? What is your height?
I'm somewhere around 5'11 I still have to duck a little bit with this one but it's significantly better than the original. You just reminded me I must have boxes of earplugs somewhere waste of money
I regret selling the TW. I have since sold the t7. It was too bulky too heavy not maneuverable enough definitely too heavy for off-road. The only thing you have to do in order to be successful with the TW is to get your mind right up front. I convinced myself I need to go everywhere at 90 miles an hour when in actuality that TW took me everywhere just fine at 60 plus another thing I have learned is enjoying the ride not just trying to get to a destination. Relax enjoy yourself and ride the when you have time for cruisin... Another thing if that's something that you can't do and you have to have a little more get up and go the next best bet would be the KLX 300 or 300 SM with some 50/50 tires same lightweight more modern and a little more pickup
@@tomalba7 I agree. The tw is not a bike one buys to ride fast. It’s strictly a little cruiser that you can bash up the side of a mountain. One definitely has to appreciate it for what it is I think to truly enjoy it. I completely agree about enjoying the ride vs the destination. I know it will have limitations and I already have plans to buy a little tow rack so I can load it on the back of my Tacoma to take on vacations & stuff with me or if a ride is too far. Appreciate the information. Maybe you can buy another!

What made you sell your tw? Do you miss it yet? I’m thinking about buying a new tw tomorrow and don’t want to make a mistake..
