This video was great for me a year ago I don't have Ikea or good display options in my area and I love the open feel to the statues and now this is my look in my cave 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Would really appreciate if you could show how you inserted the glass. Also, how do you open the display case? From the back or top? Planning to make one with acrylic but can't figure out how to make doors to insert/remove statues without having to open the back portion since it'll be placed against a wall.
Just a thought another option that can be done for the statues along the pitched roof sides. Is laser cut or hand cut acrylic sheets to match the pitch of your roof and use Display connectors to create at least a front shield to caution the little ones from touching the bat grails. I also live in California so I anchor my shelf hopefully to keep them from tipping over. These can be found on Amazon about $6 a piece. C.R. hell yea I really enjoy unboxing videos and I appreciate that you've done some in the past year and a half since this video came out and I hope you continue to do more unboxing videos cuz I know for a fact im not the only one who watched them and appreciates that you've made them, cheers
Mate these sort of videos are super helpful. For me a statue is as good as the platform it's on so having a great foundation ends with a better overall result.
@@BatmanStatueCollector Mate definitely mate. It's so important getting the foundations right because they're doing all the heavy lifting and they also contribute to the overall look of the display.
Great video and thanks for sharing your custom solutions! Does your large cabinet contain some sort of plexi-glass to keep dust out, if not, do you think it is a feasible thing to do (not sure if plexi-glass will crack/warp from putting in screws)? Love your passion for this hobby! *thumbs up*
I've actually used plexiglas before and works well with my idea because you can cut them to size and then use magnets to hold it up on the frame because the frame is metal!!
They sell drill bits that will allow you to drill holes in plexiglass without cracking it. Better to use metal screws to bolt it onto the metal frame instead of magnets as there is no chance of it falling!!
Dude, mad respect ! Sick ass display shelves you have for your statues ! And Badass Stautes ! Thank you for your idea and for showing your work. It's the best home-made work i've seen so far A++
How did you work out the backdrop print? I want a Trinity one going for when the new Wonder Woman Batman premium formats comes in the future. Right now I need a riser for the superman coming in 2-4 days. Any leads, sites/companies in your research and experience would hasten my own developments please
I'm wondering how hard it would be to glue some good quality coin style magnets or magnet strips to each of the 3 panels individually (as to be able to keep them separate from each other for easier storage and maneuvering) and have the panels just stick the the steel frame? Could also just glue the bead-board to the long boards, then paint, and glue the magnets to the panels. I like the modularity and I especially like keeping things simple. Hmm...
Great idea on customizing your display stands. They look so good I thought you bought them. I would definitely watch if you do unboxings or if you just display the box next to the statues when you review them for us. Thanks for showing your amazing collection
Love the displays, can you tell me where you got the background that you have in your large Batman/Joker/Cat Woman/Harley Quinn display cabinet? Was that something you made yourself?
fantastic work bro... love the shelving... i would definitley love to watch some unboxings, reviews, anything u wanna share... i love watching videos of other peoples collections... when i get my stuff moved into my new room i plan on doing an update... i have added a few small things since i last did a video... thanks again for sharing
Very clever idea and solid execution! That display at the end of the room with the premium formats is a thing of beauty. The backdrop, hidden led lighting and statues on different levels! Curious, where did you get the Gotham backdrop for the statues, is that a poster?
Thanks for your comments...the background is a desktop wallpaper that I had printed at a local print shop on a heavy duty material..not sure what it's called. It turned out really well!
I also have the 1/2 scale Prime Affleck coming. I'm very anxious to see how you display your statue. I'm a long time collector and these videos are giving me great ideas for display arrangements in the future. Great channel.
Are those statues you have of batman and friends part of a series line by slideshow or are they separate line statues? Joker and Harley look like it but I dont know about the others.
Awesome, idea!! I don't collect large statues, I'm mostly into 1/6 figures and vehicles that i need to protect from dust and would need to figure out how to add plexiglass glass or something. I like your collection and have subbed you.
Awesome stuff man. Clicked your link on statue collectors. You got yourself a follower. Hopefully when I become a homeowner Ill have to copy your idea. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for the video, I'm doing almost the same the difference is to paint the wooden cover black from inside and out and put it on backwards then put the LED lights Inside I'll have more space inside the box and on top of the box if you do this you'll have twice the space.
I have no idea where you got the metal shelving, all I see are ones that are 60"+ in height, and then I don't know what the top shelf is that you put the vinyl on, did it come with the metal shelving or...?
Good piece compared to its size, it is hard to reach perfection when dealing with such small piece. Good luck for all and thx for sharing buddy. Much appreciated 😈
If its not any trouble, Could anyone post a link to the metal shelfs that are shown in this video. I found some that are like it, But I can not find the large black top like he has. Any help would be appreciated.

Absolute genius! Now i may finally be able to display my bayek statue from assassins creed origins, Thank You!
Real nice.. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely..thanks for watching!!!
Many Thanks m8, where can i get these metal shelving ? I'm looking forward to building a similar display for the busts.
Being that your statues aren't in cased in glass is there a lot of dust or not that bad ? And Thanks for the awesome videos
I dust once a week and it's not bad at all. There is not a lot of traffic in the room, so dust doesn't really fly. Thank you also for watching!
What is the framing that you use to hold your single statue? is that from ikea?
Thanks for the how to. I really like the way you did it.
did you replace the boards with wood shelves or do you trust the ones, they come with?
no. they are cheap particle board that will bow.

I took a desktop wallpaper from google at it's largest size. I sent that file to a local printshop and they printed it for me!
Awesome great idea and very clever.
Thank you for watching!

TheDarkKnight1983 Thank you so much! I'm really excited for the 1/2 scale Batman!!
Nice! How much weight can each shelf hold?
+1madzilla the entire unit can hold 4,000 pounds.
How did you put the glass portion of the case together?
Very smart, and yes its hard to find the right displays for specific status!
Are those statues you have of batman and friends part of a series line by slideshow or are they separate line statues? Joker and Harley look like it but I dont know about the others.
+Dodgers 79-33 Joker, Batman, Ivy, Harley, and Catwoman are part of the Sideshow Premium Format line.
WOW!!! Very cool. I actually like to watch unboxings more then reviews.

I meant to ask, what did you do for the corners? Is it just glue?
I used a nail gun for the corners.
Edsal shelves. Nice! Display my statues on these with the raw look.
Love it, You are a genius....roughly how much did it run you in price?
+Scotty Lousteau 50 to 90 bucks for the metal shelving and around $25 for supplies for each shelf.
