Mary, Roxanne & Pam! You 3 must do more YT videos!! I watched the replay around midnite and I must say it was informative & funny. You three provided comedy relief for myself & others. The chemistry between you women is undeniable. Looking forward to the next video...Thank you....
I have heard Roxanne talk about her experience before and I’ve been coming to Panama since 2021. But this is the first time (recently) when I brought my adult sons and we were blatantly followed by the police in Amador. It was very disturbing.
I don't want to sound like a know-it-all, I have accumulated self-written facts of ideal International-migration relocations for Blacks since 07/26/2024. We'll all have that silly question at some point, but independent research is key to already knowing. Not to mention RUclips videos, I learned all I know from multiple channels. One concern is over-saturation of expats has impacted increased rates of everything.
Hi Mary, I'm binge-watching your videos a bit late. OK, I taken aback by Roxanne's experience after 3 years of residency has not been good, I've been hearing the total opposite; I'm so confused now by her comment. Everybody else loves it because of folks looking like us. Can you please delve, maybe I missed something, what is it about her?
Don't worry how long this video is Ms Mary. Thank you for expanding on the reality on how you are treated in Panama. At least the police are not bothering you/ready to shot you. I think one should take the time to learn world history and our place in it. {Destruction of A Black Civilization by C. Williams}. Your mind set will shift once you realize how old our culture has existed ( 6 to 10 k years) ,how we set the standards for civilization in this world! Then you can see how young/immature the 'karen's' are in the world (2,024 years ) --> not so matured and scared. Of course I am over-simplifying. Have a great week.
@@EzzyDT there are a few reputable sources. Runoko Rashidi extensive traveler documents the Olmec heads which preceeds the Mayans in Mexico. Van Sertima documents 'They Came Before Columbus'. And my associate from Argentina shared a book with me whose 1st chapter talks of how the dance 'Tango' is an Congolese derived word that means to dance slow or dance close. I copied the whole chapter. And you hear various african instruments in the original music. Hopes this helps.
R u kidding me???? 😮😮😮 Ur saying we're getting stared at and treated differently THERE????? This is the first time I've heard this, and I've done a ton of research and am in numerous Panama FB groups. I haven't heard this before, and it's upsetting! Is there nowhere we can go to just live and let live??????? I'll be in Panama in a couple of weeks for a scouting trip and will guage things for myself then.
Hello Ladies. Thanks for the video. I am not an expat. I am Panamanian and grew up in the USA. I am Afro-Latina. I plan to visit Panama City in the second week of September. Do you have any activities that non-members can participate in? Discrimination happens everywhere. Experiencing classism and racism is a double whammy. Thanks for your candor.
our group is for visitors and also expats, but you will not see our BWEIP events unless you are in facebook group, link in the description, thanks for watching

I don't think we can judge a country based on someone's experience with the neighbors.
Thanks for the comments. Can you recommend any books on Afro-Latina history in Panama? Thanks again.

Greetings, very great to see you all are enjoying life in Panama, can you recommend a real estate agent
No due to inconsistency I don’t have a personal recommendation but you can try expat groups and facebook groups

Take a deep breath, this is not an everyday occurrence, there are problematic people everyone you go, definitely not the majority, thanks for watching

I am not in Boquete but I am posting a video tomorrow about how to look for apartments
Where are the beaches mainly for black people?
Panamá does not function like that.
