Very helpful video for an American trying to decide where to spend time in Scotland. The comments about the narrator's mispronunciations are helpful, too. I'll make sure to study up before my trip!
I for one have been to Scotland 2 times in my life and i fell in love with little nation. I hope that God shines on me and give me the chance to see her beauty one more time.
They are called highland coos, not wooly cows with funny hairdoos. Good lord. I'm not Scottish, but even I know what they are called. I love Scotland, can't wait to go back.
I think it's interesting effect views and just quick simple narrative. I read allot about how Scotland was. How people in decade live. I get fashinated the story, of the lordship, castle, horse and buggy. And there multiple Mistresses, and mountain, or Misty morning in the castle.. I think it would be nice to go there and see for ourselves.

Don't blame Americans for this lady's crappy narration. It is the producers who are to blame. There are plenty of Americans who do take the time to learn correct pronunciations. The late Robert Stack, who hosted Unsolved Mysteries, is a great example of one. He was culturally sensitive and always pronounced the names of foreign people, places, etc., with accuracy on the show. A true class act.
With all due respect to the lady who is doing the narration, couldn`t they find a scottish person to narrate? It would have sounded much better and believable. D.
Typical American pronunciation of Scottish place names, i.e. there is no "O" in EDINBURGH. If someone is going to narrate a documentary it is only good manners, not to mention good film making, to find out the correct local pronunciation of place names etc. and not use what you the narrator think fit to use. For example Glamis Castle is pronounced Glarms Castle, such mispronunciations only cause offence.
Lovely filming and information. Pity about all the mis-pronounced names. Worth redoing the narrative to get it right. Unprofessional not to get this important aspect correct.
Yes she doesn't pronounce the names of all the Cities and towns correctly and as for Oliver Cromwell you know nothing about history, I do as I'm Scottish.
Don't like the video don't watch it. There's a dislike button. She even uses meters instead of feet so there! I've seen others where they just mumble and you have to have good speakers and it was hard to find one that didn't do that.
Amen NoBullBassPlayers! Unreal! What, Expoza can't employ people who know how to pronounce the names of the places in Scotland in a travel video? That is the whole point of their videos isn't? it This lady pronounces Loch Lomond & other places as if they were French, or some other unknown pronunciation, which is fine if this were about France. It sounds ridiculous! Get with the program Expoza! This video is excellent visually but needs some work in the narrative department. I could do a much better job if you like. Nice visuals though! Thank you!
The same production team did a similarly woeful video about Ireland, again their pronunciation of place names was pathetic. Then virtually every travel vid coming out of the USA sucks for that same reason. Most of the ones I’ve seen were actually there, so HOW IN GODS NAME Do you get it sooooooooo wrong ?
💮Alot of technology comes from ancient Eygpt, e.g.telephone, electricity, ask Anthropologists, archaeology etc, the truth is out, so please tell it. 🙏😇🎶❤️🌹🌏💎🎇
No, but they should pronounce the place names etc. correctly so when we copy that pronunciation we have half a chance of being understood. The language of Scotland is English, so your comment is actually irrelevant. She doesn't have to speaks Scots either, just learn how to pronounce the places correctly.

Great channel. Well done! We truly liked it.
If I were Welsh I would not be too happy with Scott sailing from Cardiff in England!

Beautiful wish i could come and visit this place one day x
Such a great video! Thank you for sharing.

No Arbroath... Probably one of the most important towns in Scotland
The background music is so annoying. It's painful to the ears

I agree. Her pronounciation of place names was way off,
лучше всех в мире !!
Good video , the pronounceation of the place names was laughable though
+bobby crispy Your spelling of pronunciation is laughable (not pronounceation ). You really know how to show that your POV is worthless.
Did she pronounce Culloden as Kul-od-eni? hahaha! wow
Scotland is not just bagpipes.
Fun to guess how she is going to pronounce the names of places.

Oh dear! The Seltic language, Kings Bruce and Jacob (James = Jacobus in Latin). Etc etc. Should have been titled Central and S Scotland.
that would be Welsh Cardiff

Appalling mis-pronunciations
The piper is dreadful...
wee seem to have a lot the English have to answer for,?

According tae her Alexander Fleming invented penicillin. He didn't invent it, he discovered it!

There are hundrets of great pipers in Edinburgh..... why did you use this piper. I might be a bad piper, but this guy is terrible.
Love this video but this lady speaks to fast. We need a Scottish person to talk us through it.
A nice documentary, but the narrator really needs to learn how to pronounce Scottish names and places.

Who researched this? 9 minutes in and wow, i lost count of the mistakes made by the narrator.
if it were a travel video about France would you want the narrator to speak French? Then only French people would visit.

This woman's pronunciation of Scottish places and clothing accoutrements, borders on being a criminal offence.
Just cause Boston pronounces Celtic stupid, doesn't mean you should too.
The 'tour' guide really needs to study language, she has absolutely no idea how to pronounce names. She has got pretty much every name wrong.
All payed for by the English taxpayer
you talk shyte you deluded and brainwashed english F***
Yet you still hang on to us like grim death?
