We had breadfruit in the Philippines but I don't remember having eaten those ever at all as a child or as an adult. There was a big tree right across our house. As kids we went hungry a lot of times . I encouraged my brother to watch your vlog and learn . Even start planting edibles. So much ignorance causing kids to needlessly suffer.
Watching this episode today educated me
about it as a delicious ,nutritious food. I'll be on the lookout for it here in America . I live in a border city of Texas with Mexico . I'll try to convince a local grocer to bring it over across if that's possible.

Amazing! It's the first time I see the Ceylon breadfruit. I am familiar with the breadnut (Artocarpus Camansi) which looks a lot like the Ceylon breadfruit. My mom prepares it the same way you did with the coconut milk, but she added a bit more water and we eat it as a soup. It is super delicious. She adds also tofu in it. If it is possible we add chicken or beef. Thank you for such a great video. It is nice to learn something new and share similarities with you.
