🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4, Verse 4:
अर्जुन उवाच |
अपरं भवतो जन्म परं जन्म विवस्वत: |
कथमेतद्विजानीयां त्वमादौ प्रोक्तवानिति || 4||
arjuna uvācha
aparaṁ bhavato janma paraṁ janma vivasvataḥ
katham etad vijānīyāṁ tvam ādau proktavān iti
🔴 Arjuna said:
Your birth has been later; that of the Sun (Vivasvan) earlier. How then am I to take it that You imparted this Yoga in the beginning?

श्रीभगवानुवाच |
बहूनि मे व्यतीतानि जन्मानि तव चार्जुन |
तान्यहं वेद सर्वाणि न त्वं वेत्थ परन्तप || 5||
śhrī bhagavān uvācha
bahūni me vyatītāni janmāni tava chārjuna
tānyahaṁ veda sarvāṇi na tvaṁ vettha parantapa
🔴 The blesses Lord said:
Numerous births of Mine have already taken place, as also those of yours, Arjuna! I know them all, but O scourge of foes! you do not.

अजोऽपि सन्नव्ययात्मा भूतानामीश्वरोऽपि सन् |
प्रकृतिं स्वामधिष्ठाय सम्भवाम्यात्ममायया || 6||
ajo ’pi sannavyayātmā bhūtānām īśhvaro ’pi san
prakṛitiṁ svām adhiṣhṭhāya sambhavāmyātma-māyayā
🔴 Though unborn and though the immutable Self and the Lord of all living beings, resorting to My power of becoming, through My Maya, I take birth.

Jai Guru Swamiji 🙏 wonderful story of Raja Janak. When i was studying may be it was on 9 OR 10th grade one day our language teacher asked whole class to our name's meaning. He asked me also i was unaware 😢😊 i said i don't know, then he told me the name of Raja Janak's daughter was Janki. It always fascinates me Raja Janak's story, appreciated. 🙏❤💐

Comparing Santhana Dharma with Abrahamic religion but not jelling well. One says Divinity within, atma is pure, born divine, but another say we are infidel and soul is impure, born sin. One says seek truth, knowledge, responsible for Karma, others says fear God, believe God, have a dos and don'ts list. No comparison at all. Hence I humbly reject the same. 🙏 One should be truthful to the subject. Kshamam 🙏
The methods are different but the destination is the same. You prefer Hinduism more as you were born a Hindu, your karma has a big part in your current identity.

I am following your talks and have only just completed this talk. Swamiji, Lord Buddha teaches that a permanent Atama does not exist. Yet He is an enlightened being. Sri Ramakrishna and other Enlightened Ones teach that we are essentially the eternal Atma.
Can all be correct?
Swamiji is a monk that preaches Advaita Vedanta order of Hinduism. Buddhism is an offshoot of Hinduism but does not believe that Atmas are essentially of the same consciousness. Adi Shankaracharya (avataar of Lord Vishnu) appeared in India to fight off Buddhism and reignite the Advaita Vendanta (non duality) order of Hinduism.
