You guys asked for an install video, so here it is! If you like the look of the S4 Fog Light Bezels but want even more functionality, these are a must have! www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/lighting/fog-lights/subispeed-switchback-jdm-wrx-s4-style-drl-fog-light-bezels-2015-wrx-2015-sti
SubiSpeed great video as usual! Can these run with the diode c light switchbacks? So, both the fog light turn and c light switchback turn signal work? No stock turn light being used.
it’s not the blue 30 fuse. i wired it like this and it was connected to Hi beam so the regular white led wasn’t coming on with headlights. it’s the #15 fuse (Low beam) to have the headlight/fog light + turn signal
There is not a specific video on that process. What you'll need to do is go to your local hardware store to purchase some T taps and use those to tap into the positive wire of the harness.
Subispeed, if I don't have the DRL wiring harness from you, where should I tap the wire to make it DRL? I'm using the quick connect harness and my set up is diode dynamics C-lights and the old DRL harness from diode dynamics as well which connects to the high beam. WRX limited.
@@ErikRonao did you ever get this figured out? I also have the diode dynamics c light and drl harness. Do we just tap into the positive wire that goes to the c light?
Hi Subispeed. I will have mine in a couple of days. Quick question though, how to wire it so that its a normal DRL, means ON when headlights are off (I bought the quick connect). How to wire it when I want it to be always on? Will I have hyperblink when I connect the stock turn signals and the LED? Thanks!
SubiSpeed yeah both the stock ones on top of the fog lights and the straight ones. I mean do you leave the top ones empty or not running? I know it looks weird if both is turned on but not running the stock ones also looks like extra fog lights
The harness is designed to allow you to run both your stock turn signals and the bezels at the same time. The plugs are all incorporated into the wiring.
This product really needs a PDF file for instructions. I followed this video and I had a slight problem with the proper connections and I still can't get the DRL feature to work. A proper instruction document would have helped. There were no instructions in my box. I still need help. I made a ticket and I'm still waiting on a reply.
I had a question SubiSpeed, I wanted to buy these but I have a base model wrx which doesn't have the fog light function, is it still possible use this or do I have to buy different ones? And what other things would I have to purchase so that I can use the fog lights as well?
yea that's the way the plugged it in the fuse box, would need to switch out the hi beam fuse (shown in video) with the low beam its the fuse right under the high beam
I'm getting hyperblink yet you are not and the instructions don't mention needing a hyperblink module anywhere. Is this a thing that is actually needed but not documented? '17 WRX Limited with the subispeed sequential headlights
It is a case by case decision as some people have other LED bulbs that affect the circuit. In your case it seems as though you will need a hyperblink module.
Ok - the only bulbs I have are OLM LED Fogs, Subispeed Sequential Headlights, Subispeed Sequential Tails, and the Subispeed S4 Sequential JDM Fog Bezels. Which hyperblink do I need? My car has always had a tap-to-change-lanes thing.
Thank you. It would have been nice if the combination Headlight/Bezel package could have mentioned that it might be needed, or the install video, and then I wouldn't have to pay $9 for shipping for a $15 part, it seems to be needed with that combination (www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/lighting/subispeed-headlight-jdm-style-drl-bezel-lighting-combo-15-17-wrx-15-17-sti). Thanks for the info though!
Quick question. I am considering getting these bezels and also the Subispeed USDM smoke black turn signals as well. I would like both of these to work together using the turn signal. Can the wiring harness support both items? If so, sold! :) I am concerned if that is using too much power. I just have stock turns right now.

Yes you can wire them up however you'd like!
SubiSpeed Dope! Can't wait for them to arrive. Forgot to ask, but that will all work while the diodes and the fog s4 are the drl?

Is it me or is there no videos on the sequential fog light bezels? :/
Glad to see the extension is now included.
That grill though...
At 1:10 you talked about tapping into the existing Subiespeed DRL Harness. Is there a video on how to tap into the wiring harness?

francisco mota I would like to know as well as I have the diode c light and drl harness
These look super awesome, I like them.
Kevin from subispeed is getting jacked
Kevin from subispeed back at it again,
those switch backs are nice
Sweet video Kevin from Subispeed!
Can I see an installation video of the Corona ring fogs?
mine doesnt stay on with the headlight i followed your video...

If you have the DRL disabled, is there a way to wire the white LED to the parking lights so that they are only on when the C lights are on?
You ever find a way?
what front grill is that?
Why didn't Subispeed show where they mount the bezel harness at?
do ypu have a video/demo of this bezel and diode switchback c lights w/o using the stock blinker? i think that would be alot cleaner looking.
Can you split the wires so that you use both stock and fog light bezels?
Are you referring to the stock turn signals?
SubiSpeed yeah both the stock ones on top of the fog lights and the straight ones. I mean do you leave the top ones empty or not running? I know it looks weird if both is turned on but not running the stock ones also looks like extra fog lights

Is there anyway I can have that extension mailed to me? Mine did not come with it and currently it is barely able to reach the passenger side...
Yes, shoot an email over to sales@subispeed.com
mine didnt come with one either cant find one anywhere
Those headlights tho! When are those going up for purchase?
Is that the NBR challenge fog lights on the grill?

How do you disable the halogen turn signal and only use the led strip?
These look great! Adding to the list.
I connected mine today, it only turn when i put the hi beam, and the sequential turning is not activating.
yea that's the way the plugged it in the fuse box, would need to switch out the hi beam fuse (shown in video) with the low beam its the fuse right under the high beam
So what do you do with the plug if you don't want to keep the stock turn signals and only use the new bezel light?
If you don't want to use the stock turn signals, you just don't plug them in.

Follow-up - does that thing really add a 2 second delay to the turn signal as a bunch of the reviews indicate?
Like a lot of others commenting on here, where can we get that grill/fog light combo??

Yes the wiring harness allows you to run both. You may need a hyperblink module since you'll be switching to LED turn signals.
Can I use the diode dynamics smart tap relay instead?
Yes you can use the dd smart tap.
how to tap this on the drl harness?
Any way of doing this without having to take the grill off?
Bumper needs to come off to route wiring.
Anyone know where the white wire goesn
Are they bright enough to run as DRL?
Yes
SubiSpeed thanks!!
Where can I get that STI polo?
www.subispeed.com/subaru-men-s-rally-team-usa-official-polo-universal#.WP4Fj9IrJhE
fastest i have ever seen that bumper put back on!
Well when you've done it enough times, you get pretty good at it!
I keep getting a hyper blink every time I connect it the way it's shown. What am I doing wrong??
Mike Soto you need a LED flasher
