      @@XxBishop78 Ha, same here! Working on one right now. My issues are that it's locking up after 45 or so seconds and sound seems to have died entirely. I get decent voltages on both sound and MPU so I think the issues might be unrelated.

    I'm interested in that rom adapter you talked briefly about.. I checked your store but dont see it. What exactly did that do? I'm all for minimizing the number of ROMs in my machines!

      In the past, I used to offer an adapter board that used a single 2764 EPROM in a system 3-6 board set. But I've been sold out for a while, and they were a bit too problematic, so I've decided to discontinue them. Might be some out there on the used market.

      @@SiegecraftPB Interesting.. I've never looked at exactly what the memory map looked like for each chip - I know you can do some consolidation but wouldn't think there would be enough address lines on any one socket to do what you did.. I'll have to check it out.. Thanks!!

      Adapter for the memory was that soldered to area where the batteries went? My socket for the batteries is fried. Looking for an alternative.

    My master display and others all went blank when I was messing around with the settings, is there something I can do to reset and get them back on? Is there something I need to flip or do on the cpu board?

    Do you have to be in diagnostic mode to hear sound when you hit the button on sound board

    • @SiegecraftPB
      @SiegecraftPB  3 года назад

      Nope. Sound board has a completely separate processor, and runs its sound test independent of the main CPU board. All the sound board needs to get into its own test routing is power and a speaker.
