My husband and I just got a cricut maker and a heat press. Spent lots of $$$ so naturally I felt a bit nervous but mostly excited because I want to make Christian, uplifting, good vibes apparel, bags, wall art, etc. I told my husband I wanted to pray on it and see if the Lord might speak to me to let me know in some way that this is something we should pursue. So we prayed on it and I started a search about making tshirts and yours was the first I clicked on. Then, before I realize it, you're holding up a shirt you had just made that said "If you need a sign from God, here it is." I just said "Well alright Lord!". 😂😂😂 God is good. Thanks Andy... The quality of 'Screen Printed Transfers' are EXCELLENT. They'll last many, many years. I have tees that are 8 years old and are still holding up. Keep in mind, these aren't the same types coming out of a home printer. These are the same inks being used by screen printers. We have sample t-shirt packs on our website. I'd encourage you to order one -- it's CHEAP and once you get it, drop it in the washing machine and dryer a few dozen times to see how well they hold up.

The machine is HT600 later model. You may try looking on Ebay, Amazon, and Craigslist.
I'd recommend any by Hotronix -- I'm not able to post links in my responses, but click the link under the video and it'll bring you to our site. From there, click the link in the navigation bar that says "T-shirt Heat Press". The MAXX Clam or Hotronix Fusion would be a great buy -- either one is fine, manufactured by the same company, Hotronix.

Screen printed transfers is the best possibly quality. Unlike printing from a printer that will probably last for one 3-4 months before cracking and peels becomes visible. Screen printed shirts typically last for years.

With screen printed transfers, you won't run into that problem... These tees will hold up for many, many years. Click the link under the video --- you can order sample pack of transfer and t-shirt so you can see how well they hold up after dozens of washes... They last many years and will not fade like those that come out of an home inkjet or laser printer.

How do I protect my ideas that I design?
We use screen printed plastisol transfers. The designs are screen printed directly onto the plastisol transfers and than pressed onto the shirts with the heat press machine.

This seems like a much better way to go than a very expensive printer and does a great job.
Cheaper, faster, and almost just as good as screen print. This would be the next best thing to screen printing.

I published a book with many historic and interesting photos in it, and ince then Ive half considered making tee shirts using the photos, I'll look into how my color images could be made into transfers. Offhand I remember the images had to be 300dpi for the print book

To be honest I am also interested to start this T-Shirt Printing business in Pakistan. So far I understood from your video is that we need heat pressing machine, transfer papers and designs. As I have never watched other videos yet and have some questions on this stage that
1. What is transfer paper? How can we get this paper outside of USA, specially in Asia?
2. How designs are printed on Transfer Papers? Any software is used or not?
3. What type of printer is used to print on transfer papers? And what type of ink cartridges are required?

Here's some more information you may find useful!
Your biggest expense getting started will be the heat press machine 16x20 in size. The brand of machines we recommend is Hotronix.
The machine starts at $995 and up.

We recommend screen printed transfers. We do not recommend printing from a printer just for the sake of quality. You want to be in business selling products that will allow people to buy from you over and over again; as well as refer others to you. Sadly, printing from a printer will not allow you to do so.
Once you have your designs created; you can send the digital files of the designs to transfer companies. They can take your design and screen printed directly onto the special release paper. There are no printers involved in this process. All the designs are printed by screen printing equipment. Once the designs have been screen printed onto the special release paper instead of directly on shirts. They'll send you the transfers; which you'll press directly onto the shirts using the heat press machine you've purchased.
The cost of having designs printed will vary; it depends on the amount of colors you have in the design. The more colors you have in the design the more it will cost. If you're starting with a limited budget; we recommend no more than 2.
Another fact in cost of getting the designs screen printed will be determined by the amount of transfers you have printed. The less you have printed the more you'll pay. The more you have printed the cost to have the transfers printed, cost drops.
We have a source list available for purchase. The source list includes various companies to purchase custom, and pre-made transfers from a list of transfer vendors as well as vendors to purchase blank shirts.
The price for custom transfers will be determined by the amount of colors you have in your design. If you are on a tight budget then I would recommend no more than 2 colors in the design. The more colors in the design the more it will cost to have the designs screen printed onto the release paper.

Or you can locate a local screen printer in your area to screen printed directly onto blank shirts you supply the screen printer to print on. It's actually cheaper to purchase your own shirts and give to the screen printer. The price once again will be determined by the amount of colors in the design and how many shirts you have printed. You'll need to locate a local screen printer in your area to determine prices.
We have created a training course that will walk you through the entire process from beginning to end. There's no reason in trying to figure all this out on your own, cut your learning curb in half! We've done all the hard work for you. All you have to do is take advantage of the blueprint we'll provide, learn the material and apply it towards your business. This isn't an easy task, this isn't some get rich quick scam and it will require a lot of hard work if you expect to receive any type of results. Honestly, your results depend on you.
