To know benefits of reciting surah Baqarah we have to
know more about it.
Surah Baqarah is one of the greatest surahs in the holy
Quran, it contains 286 ِAyah (the longest one), and is the
second surah in the Quran after Al-fatiha.
It was revealed in Madina which means that it was
revealed after migration.
This great surah has many benefits and rewards to our
life, so we have to know more about benefits of reciting
surah Baqarah.
We can mention some of these benefits:
● Reciting surah Baqarah dismisses Shyateen so they
cannot enter the house where surah Baqarah are
recited, Abu hurairah (RA) said that the prophet
Muhammad (SAW) said: “Do not turn your houses
into graves. Verily, Shaytan does not enter the
house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited”
(Tirmidhi).
● Everyone reciting surah Baqarah will be protected
against evil eye, and witchcraft.
● It brings barakah to our time, our money, our children,
and our whole life.
● One of the great benefits of reciting surah Baqarah is
giving the reward on the day of judgment.
● Most muslims memorize the last 2 verses of it to
recite them at night as this will suffice them.
● Also reciting the last two verses of surah Baqarah for
three days, will dismiss shyateen.
So, we can say that benefits of reciting surah Baqarah are
endless, and for this reason we have to not only recite it,
but also to memorize it.
Reciting doesn’t mean reading by tongue but it means
reading by tongue, understanding by mind and sensing
these meanings by heart.
As prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, a house without
recting surah Baqarah, will be like a grave.
Upon keeping on reciting surah Baqarah, no hurt will come
to you, your family, and your life.
Benefits of the last two Ayats of surah Baqarah:
These two ayats of surah Baqarah are of the most
important.
This doesn’t mean that the rest of ayats are not important,
but they are still important besides the very high
importance of these two ayats.
1- it can protect me at night, as prophet muhammad said
“If someone recites the last two verses of surat Al-baqara
at night, that will be sufficient for him” Bukhari.
2-Source of light:
We should see these 2 ayats as asourse from Allah as
they guide and protect us.
We have to understand benefits of reciting surah Baqarah
carefully to get its blessings.
