I actually stayed at the Alaska hotel for 5 days. It was a nightmare. I booked my room for 7 days, but left 2 days early. The noise, fights, police road checks out front were a nightly event.
I grew up in Dawson Creek.. My dad was the one that told me about the fire in a phone convo YEARS ago. I think I watched this video 3 times now. I can tell the firefighters knew there was no saving this landmark.
