You are insightful and hilarious, and that’s one of the many reasons I’ve watched your channel as long as I have. Having said that, your unscripted speedrun commentaries have become a favorite of mine, to the point that I watch through your speedrun playlist at least twice a year. Something about the relaxed, conversational structure is weirdly comforting to me. Honestly I liked the edited speedruns. Made for a good way to incorporate the funny jokes and gags from edited videos. But I also enjoy the chill streams. I dunno play it by ear Demod.
I love speedruns of horror games. It's like it's supposed to be serious and spooky, then suddenly *NYOOOOM!*, player character goes rocketing past all the baddies.
Pretty random question but whats the vhs filter you use at 3:42 and the other "flashback" scenes. Is it from an effect pack or you doing that manually?
Yo! You should check out Another Crabs treasure! It reminds me of cuphead in the fact that it looks like a children's game... but is brutally challenging
at first i hated it but i learnt the moveset. if youve perfected dodge timings for the first phase youve perfected most of his attacks in the second. its just his teleport attacks that suck but that can be dodged consistently too. i hated the boss so much at first but now i think its my favourite in the whole dlc. maybe tied with messmer im not sure tho.
@@nefarious8278 my problem was i was panicking on his combos with holy attacks which lead to me panic rolling and just getting hit. i realised i just need to dodge into him rather than away from his holy attacks and since i realised that it was really enjoyable to properly dodge these attacks and punish. some of his attacks aren’t clear on how to punish but since i watched players counter them i just replicated that and it felt good to overcome these moves that would always constantly fuck me over. that big aoe attack that he starts doing in his second phase is really stupid though it doesn’t give you enough time to run out of it’s massive circle which is literally the only way to counter that move.
