      I was put in Pru by my advisor, I am sure it was for commission and it was hopeless despite paying in for years. After a number of years I transferred out into Smart pension where my other pension was. I seems much better.

    what changes when you reach 75?

    • @TruePotentialLLP
      @TruePotentialLLP  День назад

      Hi Kevan, thanks for watching! In regards to what was referenced in this episode, turning 75 years old changes how a person's beneficiaries inherit their pension.
      Currently, if a person passes away before they turn 75 then their pension can be inherited by their beneficiaries tax free. If this occurs after 75, the money a beneficiary receives can be subject to tax.
      We hope that helps. If you have any further questions around what this means for your money we recommend speaking to your financial adviser.

    But what are this new awful government going to do with the 25% tax free allowance? It's a big worry.
