- Remember MSX, the Japanese computer standard from the 80s, with its huge selection of games? Did you know that Bomberman made its debut on this hybrid of console and home computer? If not, don’t worry. Thomas Sunhede, retro gaming advisor at Embracer Games Archive, will tell you all about this mostly forgotten console.
I had a Epcom Sharp Hotbit and later a Gradiente MSX (upgraded to 2.0 with a kit) - The MSX was a major success in Brazil.
MSX is my passion. Thanks for the nkce vídeo!
Could you please preserve *Deus Ex: Human Revolution* pre-"Director's Cut", by republishing it on digital stores?
Since you bought the IP, there's no way to buy the original version anymore on PC... ...
We need more Thomas!
Nice to see HuCards for MSX games too. I guess the sample you show contains true MSX code, not PC Engine code, as the MSX would lack serious power to emulate a PC Engine.
Amazing vídeo edition! Congrats! (MSX rules)
In europe few people hád mas and the msx games that they could find were tapes ,. Most of the games were lazy ports of Spectrum games
Netherlands had (and still has) a very active and large MSX community. Many terrific games were released. Lazy spectrum ports are a minority. Konami started development of games for the MSX platform, and produced fantastic games.
Blir det något museum då?
