For myself I am vacillating between the Christian God who loves me like a father and hence validates my existence unconditionally... ...And the Buddhist concept of oneness with the cosmos ?...Or Taoist utter meaninglessness and futility of any action or desire... And hence my pointless existence. And be happy to be as significant as a rain drop. Vanessa's examples seem all to relate to interpersonal value & resonance, community & belonging - which are also super valuable, very Maslow. When the bombs start falling again, we'll need all the happy thoughts we can muster. Pick your poison!
Go beyond the picking and the vacillating. They all exist and are valid. There are many paths to the top of the mountain. Go deeper. Go wider. Go higher. Can you see it.
