Thank you guys, you are truly the best. Hope you don't mine taking my segment and putting it on my channel, so that I can share with others. Keep up the good work, looking forward to every episode.
Your city looks amazing with all the lights. I like to add lights to my sets too, but they don't look nearly as good as yours. Glad you were able to rebuild.
@@mathra2523 Thanks. Yes I use Briksmaks kits. But all custom instalation, dont folow any instructions. So I use way less material and save some money. With time it is not that hard.

trains began being put into different themes starting with my own train then world city before the train theme was scrapped when the city theme replaced world city in 2005. the last train theme sets were the santa fe and bnsf sets
Don’t forget the tiny tipper truck in Chicago. You could make dozens of shorts with the RUclipsrs that were there commenting on the tiny VS the other tipper that uses less pieces.
So, I was listening to the podcast with a blue tooth receiver thingy plugged into our old Bose CD player coming off my iPad (I feel so techie now) while I was making dinner, volume cracked, and the LEGO averse, eye-rolling Hubs walks in and starts listening and he says “These guys are good!” Clearly, you have mass appeal. Thought you should know. :-)
I liked that they released the modular this last time in December. Gave my wife a good Christmas gift for me! :) I do wish they would release the targeted GWP with the initial release instead of a month or two later. That just does not make sense.
Trivia was excellent. Alex asking questions to you like my wife ask me when we watch a movie for the first time. Then he says 40 years oh wait he said 4 decades. Hmmm
In the beginning I use to watch when less than 45mins. I enjoy watching when I can. But to be honest I don't have time to watch 1hr plus Breaking News. I enjoy Jason Bicks in 5 mins or less. I enjoy when Alex is with 10 to 15 mins length. So you guys decide, but I don't have the time to watch 1hr plus videos at this time.
I guess it's a good thing that we have both long and short videos so everyone can enjoy the content. I think watching the pre cap of the episode is going to be the best option for you.
54:28 minifigs like Axle & Slash, and their accompanying stories, are one of my favorite parts of LEGO & LEGO cities. I have a similar fig residing in my LEGO city named Big Purp, both because he wears a big purple hat... and because he is frequently perpetrating crimes! I’m not sure this is the creativity LEGO is looking to inspire, but at least I’m not the only one! Play well!
Mobile vs PC, I prefer PC any day of the week. For making, posting, or watching videos. I hate mobile devices, they're such a bother, and it annoys me every time PC things update to look more like a mobile app. That cookie butter stuff, there's a place near where I live that uses what must be the same stuff, but they put it in an ice cream sundae. I haven't had it, as I'm not so fond of that flavour, but I'm told it's quite good! Yay, my questionnaire! Okay, my trivia questions might have been a little too hard. :P Good answers for the personal questions! Awesome story about those two minifigs, Alex. And Jason, I totally get having that one that's like.. you look at it and think "I like that I have that." Those are both the kinds of answers I was hoping for! All your answers were great! I'm glad you enjoyed my questions! :D I'll lay off the Bionicle next time. Hold the phone, what? In the comment-reading bit at 1:30:54, Jason reads my comment from that episode, but I didn't write that comment..! I don't even own that set! My comment was just saying I like the weekly uploads, and do you want this questionnaire I made. I'll give an answer though. For me I'd say the top three by build experience are these: - 7163 Republic Gunship (2002). 13 year old me was thrilled every second of that build. :D - 7315 Solar Explorer (2001, Life on Mars). I got this one in a large lot of random assorted Lego I bought second hand at a yard sale. Once I picked out all the crayons, I found the big solar panel and recognized it, and slowly was able to assemble the entire set one bit at a time until I had (almost) the whole thing. One of the tiles on the back that has the Insectoids logo on it was missing, but I put a UFO one in its place. Each rare and unique piece I was able to stick onto that thing was a treat! - Any set that as I'm building it, I think "Oh, I have a great idea of how I could modify this set, or use these parts to do something else" Some examples include the 7626 Jungle Cutter (2008, Indiana Jones), as during that build I thought "I mean, I don't need a jungle cutter, but this could turn into a cool tank..." It did, several times. And also 7659 Imperial Landing Craft (2007) which was another set I was able to put together from a large lot of second hand parts. As I built it, I thought "Okay, I don't like these giant missile launchers, buuut... if I took those out, I could fit more troopers inside. I've made it fit 10 Stormtroopers instead of 4!
also Reon back here again: we do get more than 1 modular a year. one standard, and now we have been getting one marvel modular as well, and before that we got the chinese lantern festival. and some of the bricklink designer program sets are modular style as well which also fill it out.
The first LEGO set I ever bought with my own money is also tied to may favorite childhood/youth memory of LEGO. I bought 2 Technic sets in 1987-88 purely for parts to build a car I used in a school science project. I never liked science projects, but I was excited to do this one when I realized I could use LEGO to do it.
Well, if you move it to every 2 weeks it's not 10 days without any old guys talking about Lego. There's always Jabbo to listen to every day and sometimes he has a rant too.

I was shocked at how different Alex looked in the TV interview. I mean I watched it when it came out, and I've been watching Alex almost from the beginning, but he does look different. Maybe it's because he's clean shaven.
I wonder if any of the commenters find it interesting to hear how Jason would read your comments. I like that he adds emphasis and pauses that was not in the original.
I watch RUclips on my TV and chat/react on my phone. Speculoos (cookie butter) is great. I thought it was Dutch, but it is indeed Belgian. (I'm Dutch.) Speculaas is wat we call the cookies. I remember the dust storm of 2015. I discovered you in 2018 (I think) and watched all your older stuff at the time back. That dust storm was terrible.
The Yellow Castle actually contains grey bricks; plates to be exact. That it is not totally grey, has nothing to do with tanks. That is a bit of a myth - even copied by authors who should know better or should be able to do a little more research. I popped that question to a LEGO historian in Billund a decade ago. He answered it was just a color they had a lot of in production. The tank story sounds better though ;-).
I thought the questionnaire/trivia was a nice addition. I never would have guessed that Johnny Thunder was in 4 different decades of sets. Ironically BrickTsar is wearing a Johnny Thunder shirt in his Tuesday Video as well.
