I think the rex was attack + thick scales but how slow they moved, let me easily heal the bb when they tyrants and tried facetanking me at first, that was their main mistake

I’ve used it against a Sucho (idk what build) and it took around 10 swipes or less to kill it. Never underestimate the Spino tail swipe.

Speed + thick scales would be the best turn radius for it iirc, and I find defence build spino to be the worst, its such a noob trap, any speed spino would likely dominate a defence assuming they actually know how to play the dinosaur

People play Rex juet because it's Rex. They also lack the proper understanding of its playstyle etc, which is why they die so easily.
All he did was tail ride the rex. It has a terrible turn and can easily be taken out by any apex with a better turn. Which is every apex. Do you think that he should have just turned faster?

Spino: Speed + thick scales, bite, claw, tail
Rex: Attack + Thick scales, bite, crushing bite, tyrants roar and tail

@@majorcheirus77 in terms of game balance? I wouldn't say so, irl sure rex should typically deck Spino, but in a game like this with a Spino with this kind of model and size, its understandable that they'd be at a 50/50 in terms of a fight

I’ve used the Rex and you can for sure outplay it. A lot of people don’t really know how to pvp in this game. I do it for the fun of it and there is some terrible players in this game Lol, Rex could’ve killed you without the bone break. Face to face Rex wins against anything but a bars on a 1on1. He tried to bone break and get his buff. Problem is this Rex L2 clearly doesn’t work cause his ass just ran after you like a d*mbass
This was posted back when spino beat it in a facetank due to superior dps, which is why they didn't bother facetanking me, also they knew I would've been able to get behind them after I lowered their health enough which is why they tried not to facetank me
ofc its possible for rex to clap a spino, its very area based now, if you're fighting spino near a river or lake, chances are its very close quarters, where spino usually takes the W. If it's in a more open area such as grasslands or salt rocks, spino should get clapped
@@gooser3081 ive tested the damage of red and even on a double defense spino. The Rex will kill you before you can kill it face to face. You managed to get enough space and separation from the Rex avoiding its bites while landing tail hits and claws which is great but like I said from the jump if this Rex used his L2(precise movement) to adjust his Rex to simply out damage you. You will lose 100% of the time.
Now obviously if there’s water around a spino will dive in and at that point what’s the point of chasing it. Nothing to do there

and tbh, theres no way I lose 100% of the time, the obvious part being of course that nothing can really be 100% in a 1v1 like this, and 2, i'm simply the better player in that scenario, you'd have to completely change the 1v1 in order for it to change, but at that point thats not really the same video, just

@@gooser3081 I get ya point completely, I am not aware of the stats when the game first came out. I picked it up around January, that’s when I found out about the game. But I’ve tested it out a well ago, double defense spino face to face against a damage/thick scale Rex loses 100% of the time. Unless the spino player completely outplays the Rex but then it’s not a face to face, either way games pretty fun. If ya wanna run some pvp gladly add me
@@mattgibney4085 this wasn't when the game first came out, it's been out around 3 odd years when this video was made
and yeah, against thick scales rex sure, but both provide a 30% bonus so its a relatively insignificant point, you're just slowing the facetank lol, besides, facetanking is a relatively skill-less play so any smart player would want to avoid that as much as possible
