It always pays to have the right equipment.
Looks like Ricky has the necessary setup
Certainly does all the jobs i need it too Jim 👍
Lovely set up
Thanks
Love the van and set up, thanks for explaining, I love real steam cleaning, you do the nicest homes, love your music on this video too, so relaxing, Cheers from Oregon Ricky.
Thanks so much👍
Ricky it’s like your systems get better and better as the years go by. I thought you already had a top notch system but you have still managed to improve it significantly. Must of cost a hell of a lot 💷🤑. Well done mate.
Hi Ricky, amazing van set up, I like how clean and tidy your set up is, everything has a home, you should be very proud.
Regards Dave from up North 👍
Thanks for washing, and we'll see you next time. 😊
A pretty sharp looking setup in the truck. Always takes a while to learn what tools you have to have with you when you can't bring them all.
Love it!
Great job and great music, as always!
Cool setup, Ricky! I hope you had a great time on your holidays!!!
*Great to see your FAB van setup* !! *You are so organized* !! *The patios are much more clean* !! #BournemouthJetWashing

Cracking set up Ricky for a compact size van 👍
All right Ricky, that looks so much more professional. Not that your work wasn't professional before! Good job.
Thanks 👍
The van setup is amazing Ricky 👍👍
Cheers tried to make is as compact as possible
I've been hooked on watching your videos on facebook for ages.. I can't explain why or how, but for some reason I find them therapeutic 🙈.. Thanks for doing them mate! 👍 Just subbed to binge watch on here now! LOL
Glad you like them, cheers for watching
Hello Ricky, van looks great. Very organized. Patios nice and very clean now. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸
Thanks so much Joyce
Use of every cm of space! Mobile pressure washing at its best! 👍👏✨❤
Yes indeed , i have extra floor space for the surface cleaner or anything else i wish to transport like sand etc
@@Bournemouthjetwashing 🙂👍
Hi Ricky, the new setup mate looks great mate ,top work on the cleans fella , hope you and the mrs are well take care 🧤👍
Cheers Mike hope you are both well too👍
Nice set up Ricky
What a great setup. I have the same machine, but at 25lpm and 300 bar, but without the boiler (thats next on the list). Been watching your videos for ages and do the same thing in Cambridgeshire.
A van pack system makes things much easier
Your set up is the dogs danglys bud! 👍🏼
I was happy with my beaten up van
Wow Rick what a van well equipped !! not seeing much of you lately Rick ? have you been on your hols again ?
Hello Russ, Life got busy outside of work, had a couple of holidays then took time off to strip the van out and put all this in as well as a new floor, Work slows down this time of year for me which suits me fine as dont want to work all year. Hope you are keeping well too Russ
Hi Ricky,
Awesome setup, you have done a great job there, looks very smart. Where did you get your stainless steel hose reels from?did you get them fabricated for your van or brought already built. Thanks
Hello Johnny , cheers, for hose reels and other stuff that i have check out the watertek hosereels at www.rutlandpumps.com
Awesome setup, subscribed! Can I ask how long your 3/4" fill hose is? I'm looking to get one for my pressure washing business but don't know what length to get.
Cheers , i use 50 meters which i find is enough
Hey ricky, love the new van pack system, is the boiler part different from your previous set up?...or isit more or less the same system...keep up the good work👍
Hello cheers no I just took the boiler out of the housing and mounted it on to the frame 👍🏻
Aww cool...cheers ricky👍
Ricky the boiler where did you get the exhaust fitting please mate?
Rutland pumps website
Anyone else jealous of that set up?! No, me neither 😂
It looks a bit unmanageable I'll grant you. Perhaps it's set up by the "Oh, dammit. I need that too" principle. 😊
In genreal there is a lot of systems in the van and will do longer video on this once everything has been finnished im adding electric hose reels in the nect few days a diffrent wiring switch system and finnishing off the installing the hypo and soap tanks and hose guides etc, We all have our own type of systems that work well for us
Some set up Ricky, what's powering it all, split charge relay to leasure battery's ??
cheers, yeah i have 12v on the lights and 240v on the boiler, softwash pump and booster pump
Bravo Ricky Banjo
I really like the vice you added in there too
Top work there and well done for rutland making a great machine too
Very snazzy setup 5 ⭐️
Thank you very much, yeah a vice is very handy
I’m going in watertek shop
Love that setup❤, how did you manage to keep getting jobs in the winter when u first started?
Cheers I used to do the gutter cleaning in winter but gave that up 7 years ago now , I only tend to work 9 or 10 months a year now tend to make enough to take the winter months off now, and I'm over 50 now so don't want to work myself to death.
@@Bournemouthjetwashing wow I think that’s cool, you’ve been in this game the longest. It would be amazing if you did a video on your story like
• the beginning of ur story and how u built your business.
•and how you scaled it to what it is now.
Also how comes you don’t have employees( as far as I can tell 😅) to take the edge off. Sorry if I’m asking too much 😅
@@JCWExteriorCleaning na that's not for me been doing the pressure washing for nearly 20 years now, no employees I like the stress free lifestyle over chasing the of money.
Great set up. I was planning on having a separate pressure washer and boiler (with a genny powering the boiler). I believe you used to have the same. I'm assuming this system is "all in one" with an alternator powering the boiler? Is this new system much easier to use i.e. less switches to turn on, less fuel tanks to fill, etc?
Thanks you could get alternaor connected up to the engine to power the boiler, iv still used the genny as i power other machines like the softwash and booster pump and battery charger for the 12v systems onboard. the machine is the same as i had before but have also added electric hose reels and a few other changes over the last few days. Having a all in one system is easy just pull out the pressure hose and switch on
Thanks I'm getting a booster pump too.. so if I was using the booster pump on most/all jobs (and thus using a genny anyway) it might make just as much sense to use a genny to also power the boiler? And if so, what size genny would I need to simultaneously power the boiler and booster pump? @@Bournemouthjetwashing
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Ricky, I'm Ricky too from Southern Victoria, did you have this setup done? if so where? I'm kinda inspired to do this kind of job myself in the near future.. Hope to hear from you soon mate, great work BTW. Cheers.
Ahh haa hello Ricky👍 I pretty much got the frame and just added to it over time and added extra bits but you can buy them complete and ready to go, check out the website here. www.rutlandpumps.com/van-mounts.html
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Hi i see your videos and it’s really amazing and i also wants to start up my own driveway cleaning business so can you please let me know how much it cost to setup all the things and if i have to learn from you can you please give me training. Thank you😊😊
Hello thanks for watching , i dont offer training but there are places out there that do, For a small budget of 3k you could get started check out starter packs at www.rutlandpumps.com
Hi Ricky is your trasporter long wheel base? Nice setup by the way 👌👌
Hello Connor cheers yeah its a Lwb T32 Highline spec.
great video thank you. I live in Canada, and most people in around here recommend not to use vans as the chemicals and bleach will eat up and rust out the frame and whole van, is that something you are experiencing? thank you . I would love to buy a van and mount skid inside due to safety reasons people stealing my gear.
Hello Baz thats the main reason we use vans , if we had open back trailers like the yanks do , it would soon be stripped, also another reason is the UK road are narrow so would be pretty much impossible to use them trailers , Bleach is never a problem we normally fibre glass the van floor or use a good vynil flooring or line X spray treatment. i normally change my van every 3 years for a new one. Get a Van Baz keep youre gear safe
What did you have in the watering can?
What equipment did you start with? What equipment would you recommend for beginners (low budget)?
Check out the starter packages at rutland pumps or ac pressure washers website, a small budget to £ 2500 will get you started
@@Bournemouthjetwashing so would you start without hot water?
Why the vice? Why 2 different valves? Why a battery on the tank? And what's the engine like? Brand? Specs? Same for the van
Never seen two unloader valves been used
Hello normally just use the 3/8 unloader for normal job but when i want more flow i switch over to the 1/2 unloader and this is ideal for large block paving driveways and very large areas
Amazing set up Ricky, did you install it all?
Cheers, yeah done all the install myself
@@Bournemouthjetwashing wicked mate
Hello I have a roller pump and wanting to soft wash with it, can you explain the setup I know it has the bypass I’ve only been using mine to rinse with. Even if you have a drawing explaining to plumbing side would really help me out.
`Thats all mainly a roller pump is used for but just applying chems, nothing really to explain just a in and out and bypass to slow the flow down
@@Bournemouthjetwashing yes but you have to bypass with a roller pump, will it not pull chems in bypass? I have my bypass going back to tank. Will I have to loop it back into hose before pump?
Yes indeed bypass is just that put chemicals back into a cycle in the tank, use totally seprate tanks one for water one for chems
👋👍🤗❤️
Why do you have two fuel tanks - the upright and the boiler tank?
Machine is petrol and boiler is diesel
Hi Ricky,
Could I please ask what the Clarke booster pump is for?. Is it to get more water from the customers tap onto your water tank?.
Hello Johnny its i placed at the end of a 50 meter 3/4 hose real to boost the pumping into the tank, you cant get more than the tank puts out but you can increase the flow through 50m of hose , its works great
@@Bournemouthjetwashing Thanks Ricky. Perfect, I have a Clarke booster pump which I will now use with my 19mm hose to fill my buffer tank for my pressure washer. Some jobs I go on I'm not getting enough water flow and my pressure washer (Honda Gx390 200bar, 21lpm)uses more than what is going into the buffer tank, then I'm having to wait until it fills up again. It gets very frustrating.
Ricky what’s the stuff in the watering can? Is it water or some cleaning fluid?
Just hypoclorite
@@Bournemouthjetwashing thanks ……is it hard to start out a pressure washing business?
@SKLFC8791 like ant business you have to work hard to get the customers nothing is easy
Is the half inch hose also connected to the boiler? Or only the 3/8?
Only the 3/8 as i dont need high flow when using the boiler , mainly is used for patios and walls
Ok, so would a 25lpm hotbox boiler be okay to use with the 30lpm pressure washer? As you're turning down to lower flow rate. 30lpm mazzoni boiler are bigger and less available
@mrandrewg88 absolutely just fine that's what I use have never had a problem with the flow rate of hot water, I probably only use around 15lpm when using the boiler
Ricky who supplied your setup mate?
