he said alright so that she would move on to the next question. He was pretty unfased by her leaning on him. He is smart, likes anime, and he likes video games so I guess he could be considered “nerdy” but he doesn’t seem nearly as awkward as Otis.

Remember after the party he said guys like otis don't know what it feels to be like us. It according to me was a clear hint that he wants maeve to be his. Maeve then said he(Otis) is having a bit of family troubles. So, i believe that she still loves Otis and the writers are just delaying it.

Tom Holland pronounces pretty well though. Most people can't roll their R's like the French can. It's a "krwa-son" not a "kru-saant." Watch any video on RUclips of a French person teaching how to pronounce it, they all say its "krwa-son," but it's better to pronounce it as "kwa-son" (like Holland does) if you can't pronounce the French "R." It's the American pronunciation that's completely wrong.

There is an “r” that you can clearly hear when Emma says it so if Tom Holland is saying “quackson” then he is not saying it totally right.
@Joe S But “qwasson” is not the way the French say it either. Listen to Emma, she pronounces the “r” so it sounds like “crwasson” not “Kwasson”.
@Joe S Agree!! I actually went to listen to Tom Holland saying it and he does say “kwasson” no “quackson”. He is just missing that pesky “r” 😂
He doesn't say "quackson" though. He says "kwa-son", which is much closer to the actual pronunciation, which is "krwa-son." It's the Americans who get it completely wrong by saying "kru-saant." If you watch any tutorial on how to pronounce the word in French, they always say that it is better to say "kwa-son" since most people can't roll their R's like the French can.
