I remember when i was a teen telling my mom i hate you!! What i would do now just to hold and sit with her. And I always tell my daughters now one day you’ll realize how much you really love your mom when they tell me that they hate me, go away you’re bugging me etc. This quarantine has really brought to my attention that you really don’t know what you have until it’s gone

Every day is struggle for me, to figure out how to mourn the loss and to see my sweet Father lost and missing his other half. She was my support, protection, defender, and provider...I honestly felt I could accomplish anything because she believed in me. Please...if you still are fortunate enough to be able to hug and kiss your Mother...do so now...do not hesitate and never put off telling her how much you love her...because you just never know what the next day is going to bring.
Fraser, Clifton and Victor, we heard this song for the 1st time this morning on BT Toronto. We were sitting here preparing funeral arrangements for my wife's mother. This simply made me cry. I am losing my mother slowly to Alzheimers and it hurts. I want more time with her, more chances to experience all the joys and sorrows that life has to offer but time never asked me what I wanted. For now I just have to treasure the time that she remains my mom and not dwell on the upcoming days when I become a stranger to her.
