Regarding cable, How much buffer length can be considered extra for termination ? Say 10% or more?

There is no harm to learn. Quantity Surveying is not limited to Civil or MEP. I'll suggest you to learn everything.

Either we depend on Schematic Diagram or section but we have to highlight somewhere.

We have measured smoke sensor in GF drawing and excel sheet automatically updated. How can we update the same quantity for second floor in the same excel cell.?
Continue the same Takeoff item on the Second floor by pressing Green Button. It will merge the Qty.

Can we use this software For Estimation ?
YES, You can use it for Estimation, Planning & QuantitySurveying etc.
As long as your concern is to measure something from the drawings, PlanSwift is helpful.

How to link it with excel
PlanSwift & Excel Integration requires proper installation. Which version of PlanSwift & Excel do you use?
