"Patience" maybe? One more data point for my theory that the English don't speak English any more, just a variety of cants like Yobbo, Mrs. Grundy, Pretentioius Undergrad, and a few others. The Welsh and the Irish still use the language, and the Scots give it a good try a lot of the time, but the Engllish? Lost cause. Hell, most of 'em can't even handle Strine. The football scores probably involve too much advanced math for the English brain to handle.
