  • Did you know, as your baby starts to grow, your body understands how much milk the baby needs, and breasts do not become as hard as before?
The duration of feeds increases as the baby gains expertise in sucking.
So within a span of less time, they get the needed milk.
The baby’s flat stomach is also not an indication of insufficient milk supply.
As far as the baby is having healthy weight gain and is active there is nothing to worry about.
Now, all worries apart, enjoy your motherhood.
    Happy breastfeeding.

All my family members keep saying that my baby's tummy doesn't look bigger after feeding... it's still flat....her feeding duration also has been reduced...and she is not chubby.....that means she always remains hungry...but my baby doesn't demand feeding...she is a happy baby..she is not cranky at all...and if she is not worried about her hunger...then why should I be?

If your baby has more than 7 plus urine output and she is active then there is no need to worry

@@Babypedia yes she does urinate for more than 7 times...
And her weight gain of 1st 3 months was around 1 kgs per month...but in recent scenario it's like 400-500 gms per month...
      Birth weight 2.55 kg
      5 months 6 days 6.1 kg...
      Is it okay?

If the baby is having 7+ urine count in 24 hrs then its not low supply of milk.Try to evalate other factors like growth spurt, sleep regression etc
