I have memorized the Jabberwocky by Lewis Carrol as have millions of other people. Memorizing something does not mean anything unless you can understand what you are memorizing. I can memorize bird calls and repeat them, that does not make me bird, nor does it tell me what message the birds are sending to each other. You cannot defend any of it because you have no idea of what it says, you only know what others told you to repeat. That makes you totally dependent on man not god.
I own 2 different copies and the translations are different. I looked up a dozen different copies on the internet and all those copies are slightly different. So saying they are all the same is a HUGE lie and a dangerous one because when a new convert gets one and has been led to believe they are all the same he doesn't question when his book says chase down and kill anyone who does not agree with you. When another copy says only to harass them until they convert but doesnt say kill outright.

I need no promise of rewards in the afterlife to make me do what is right. I need no threat of punishment to keep me fro being bad. I am not a dog that needs a treat or beating with a rolled up newspaper to behave properly. If you are not strong enough to be good without threats and rewards, then you need religion. It is too full of loopholes to be exploited by the wicked for my taste, I choose not to associate with such people.

Which one of the 100 or so different versions did you read? There are 7 different versions in Arabic alone, the Saudi version is vastly different from the Moroccan version. I own 2 different versions in English, they are not the same. In 2007 a women "translated" the Quran, she changed 4:34 to say (make her go away) instead of beat her. So, again I say that you have never read the Quran. And you are defending something you never even saw... the REAL Quran.

I have memorized the Jabberwocky by Lewis Carrol as have millions of other people. Memorizing something does not mean anything unless you can understand what you are memorizing. I can memorize bird calls and repeat them, that does not make me bird, nor does it tell me what message the birds are sending to each other.

I own 2 different copies and the translations are different. I looked up a dozen different copies on the internet and all those copies are slightly different. So saying they are all the same is a HUGE lie and a dangerous one because when a new convert gets one and has been led to believe they are all the same he doesn't question when his book says chase down and kill anyone who does not agree with you. When another copy says only to harass them until they convert but doesnt say kill outright.

"Scourge" means to beat them until they bleed, just in case you are intrested.

There are 7 different versions in Arabic alone, the Saudi version is vastly different from the Moroccan version.
I own 2 different versions in English, they are not the same.
In 2007 a women "translated" the Quran, she changed 4:34 to say (make her go away) instead of beat her.
