Excellent workmanship
Travis, me thinks you need to get a steadying frame work installed inside the coupe so you can keep the contours and squareness of the body intact. The roof corner rehab looks super, carry on McDuff, the end is getting closer.
Travis looks Awesome and Kelly nice work
Phew! This is what I like. Much better than Jeopardy!
Travis, absolutely love this deuce and the craftsmanship you are putting into it. Super inspiring. You both are cooking on gas!! My favourite hot rod of all time!!
Very good job Travis!!
32 corner NICE, NICE!
Looks awesome
Nice job. Lookin' Good!
Looking good!
Nice job!
great Job
I am so JEALOUS of your skills!!!
Dont be jealous... be motivated by Travis skills and get grinding...more you put in the better it gets...its the initial first step thats the hardest
Hi from Australia. Nice work Travis. And great video 👌
Nice work Travis
Two questions. 1. I see some small pin holes or gaps in your rig welds, do you keep those and fill them? Or do you re-weld those small areas? 2. The roof has a ton of surface rust, how do you get that clean and prepped?
Kelly is so damn cool! You’re a lucky guy.
Sweet!
What brand of tires are using?? Looks to be new
You knock the ugly out of it.👍
Good Stuff 👍 What’s The Other Channel Y’all Said Earlier ?
What's your plan for steering gear/column?
When are you gonna attach the body to some sub rails ?
I admire your ambition to resurect this deuce with your quality metal working skills. My one suggestion is to religiously wear a N95 dustmask or even a respirator when grinding lead or even rusty sheetmetal.
When you put on a new white dust mask and then grind on something for a couple of hours and the mask turns brown which it will that's all the crud the mask kept out of your lungs.
It's easier to get lead poisoning than you wouild think. When the lead is ground into fine particles and being blow all over the place with the grinder that's when it's in it's most dangerous form.
My father gave himself leadpoisioning by refninshing an old house. Lead has to build up in your body for a long time before you finally get symptons of lead poisioning and it takes a long time for the symptoms to go awayy once you figure out what's going on.
Mask police are here. 🙄🙄🙄
@@Lanni_747 Is there a reason one should not point out obvious safety concerns? When he's 70 and has Emphysema (or worse) he will thank the mask police... IF he listens to the advice.
@@Wheel_Horse he knows right n wrong. Can’t stand seeing it over n over. GEt SoME glAsSeS oN! Just watch the cool video and craftsmanship.
@@Lanni_747 Yeah, maybe HE does, and ignores the issue, but think about those who might be getting into the craft. They might NOT know or be thinking about the safety issues. IMHO anyone who posts videos should set a good example for others. Ignoring safety and flaunting it in a video is just wrong. Off camera, he can huff paint if he wants to, but ON camera there should be some responsibility to pay attention to the big picture. I ignored it for decades and now I'm paying for that. But yeah, I get it... it does get tedious after a while reading it over and over.
@@Wheel_Horse 🙄🙄🙄🙄
You need to get the sub structure fixed first.so you can fit the doors then fix the cosmetics.
Well yeah but until I can afford the subrails I’ll fix this stuff
Get the lead out ... lol
Watch the factory ford film on the new '40 Fords on here, Tudor is pronounced “two door” not tooter. Because it’s a two door sedan…
I know that.
like 120 !
I think you can weld better than the one on there
Either you or Kelly had mentioned ( maybe I was dreaming ) BUY either of you said you were looking for or buying a new home…..WTF….?
buddy do your self a favor get a pressure sandblaster a 4400 psi 4.0 gallon a minute pressure washer a hydro blast nozzle from napa and go to town i could blast that whole body like brand new no stripes or warpage in a hour with 5? bags sand!
Yea travis stop giving kelly the hard work
Mobetter
Hard too believe some one would do a weld so bad
