I just lost my Angel, virtually a Week before Mother’s Day and I’m in mf pieces. She cherished this Guy so much I have to myself. Better not joke about him being Gay either. RIHP💐💐💐 Momma I have no Life without you and it’ll never be the same or okay until we are together again, I don’t care where you went. I want in.

This is a testament from someone that grew up in the 80's. It was a beautiful experience that even through Reaganomics, we found peace in listening to great music. I think it's a damn shame that music now is a minstrel show. Crappy intertoy beats under the guise of R&B. It makes me sick. Brothas and sistas 'SANG' and didn't have to oversex themselves as a gimmick to hide how piss poor their talent was. For the kids that post on here that are under 20, I'm impressed LOL

Freddie's a true, naturally born singer. Believe it or not, we lived in the same building and on the same floor in Drew Hamilton Projects in Harlem on the 19th floor. This was long before he was a star. We used to talk in the hallway waiting on the elevator. He used to tell me how he'd sing back up for Stevie Wonder and others but I never knew he would go to such heights in the business. Amazing!

I was born in '86, so most of the music I remember is from the 90s. However, I fell in love with this song after hearing it on my GTA IV game. This was real music and when it was about love and not just getting some. Music that respected women. I can honestly say that there is only a handful of good music out nowadays. I'd give anything if music could go back to the way it was back then (60s-90s).

Freddie has great tonality, power and sincerity in his voice. He's definitely got talent. He's one of a kind and I appreciate and respect that in a singer or artist. I believe he's underrated and of course underpaid and ripped off by his record company but what else is new about recording companies that's why they really no longer exist and things like the internet caused them to almost become virtually extinct. It's funny how these record execs can live or sleep at night knowing they stole!
