I was curious if basil seed would actually do anything. Apparently it reduces estrogen levels, so could potentially prevent pregnancy or increase the chance of miscarriages. (I'm curious by nature, so love learning bits of information here and there. At 50, it won't directly affect me, but might've been good to know during my high-risk pregnancies.😊)

There's a lot of natural seeds and dry leafs that when mixed can prevent or lead to miscarriages. Usually taken in food or teas.

@@daniV.27 I knew about avoiding pennyroyal, and a few others, but hadn't heard about this. One of the things I drank often was a drink made by adding basil and/or coriander seeds to water.

Its maybe a misunderstanding in the sub, but they are talking about the others seeds (maybe alfalfa, im not sure either), but definitely not basil. Alfalfa seeds is not safe to use in long term, and they can work like estrogen, or, birth control pill 😂

Heather Cutler you welcome! And to be more accurate, in the cut scene they are not actually just seeds, but concentrated extract, which mean a lot amount and heavier than normal ones. Btw So sorry for my bad English 😞

I don't know the science behind it, but these concubines like to give each other this Dong E E Jiao whenever someone gets pregnant. I suppose it's a kind of tonic (an expensive one). It has nothing to do with infertility or whatsoever.

Donkeys are mated to mares (horse) that produces an infertile mule.....as for a harem full of ladies...its more destructive when they are fighting for power....sad this the reason i dont have female friends the things women ate capable of.
