Now this is the formula to every young artistes. Once you are able to comprise a collection of hits. Then when on stage you don't have to exert much energy because the songs will do most of the work. And it's even much easier now at a lot of stage shows, because they are playing the songs and not the rhythms which doesn't really make any sense. Why having the artiste there then? It should be a stage show and not a dance or party. But the hardest part is writing quality songs. And if one has the gift, it wouldn't be hard anyway..
People leave all the way from home to hear there favorite Mavado song,and him a sing it for 5 seconds and next song another 5 seconds just ah chop chop tune,,no live band and no clean versions,just a sing over him songs,,people could ah stay home and watch him pon youtube and get a better vibe, AH me artist still,,but WTF...
Mavado has yet to master the art of performing after all these years. I love Mavado, but when he performs, it's not good. He only sings the song for a little while and then stops.
