Love this song. I met Bobby Goldsboro back in 1980 when I worked for HBO in Dallas. He was recording a concert for us. I looked after him for the weekend and took him to the concert venue. I asked him if he would be singing “And Then There Was Gina”…….he said he’d completely forgotten about that song and he hadn’t sung it for ages. Then he sang it at the concert for me! He was a really nice guy. And I still love this song.

I haven't heard this little gem from Bobby for, oh it must be almost 50 years. I still love it just as much today as I did back then. It's such a lovely song.

Back in the mid 70s, I was a DJ in Massachusetts when this song came out. It so happens I had been dating a girl named Gina, who had left for France for her studies. I used to play this song at the station, thinking of her and wondering what she would be like when she came back. Sadly, I never saw her again. But right after all of this, I met a very special woman and we married a few years later. Life always has a number of wonderful twists. Thanks for posting.

This was a decent sized hit on the adult contemporary charts back in the late 70's...A very pleasant little song.

Yes, I agree with your view. Here I like to add that this song was from the Bobby Goldsboro album "Through The Eyes Of A Man" released in 1975 by United Artists according to the information from Wikipedia. As you had mentioned it was a decent sized hit on the Adult Contemporary Charts in 1975.

If I made a song of all the girls I've been with
