You guys can make any daily chore an adventure! Sure is nice to hear 2 young men and there dad working together, laughing, listening to each other and not slinging the "f-word" around every other word.
One of the best yet. Nothing like seeing country from between a horses ears. Great to see you and the big boys getting some of the tougher chores done and still having some fun. Thank you for the ride!
I gotta say that musta been one fun day. Two sets of antlers (one was huge) and then roping a wild bull...puttin' your own ANCHOR Brand onto it...then "Transitioning" it into a Steer and not wasting one single thing. Finally taking a break and eating a nice hearty set of meatballs for lunch. What a day. Yeehaw!!!
That is a tanker of a mulie dead head!! The eye guards on it are world class! Honestly I have hunted 40+ years and never ever seen one with eye guards like those. I do have a whitetail buck with big ones.
That was great back to child abuse and harassing cows. I was worried you'd gone soft with all that 🌧 . It's nice to see knowledge being passed on and the joy a father gets from seeing his son run for his life. 😊
I've read all the Louis L'amore books and he called them "runnin' irons" that the rustlers used to rework a brand. Being a city boy I have no Idea what I'm talking about. I sure enjoyed this episode though!
Awesome video ....proof that a mad bovine gives a cowboy incentive to do things he didn't know he could do...been there , done that back when I was about his age.
Now that’s ranchin! Oh to be young and semi fearless again. There about a gozillian kids that will never know how to do half of what them boys can do. You keep teachin as long as they are willing to learn. Great work all of you. Glad my herd is semi tame. Lol.
Gordon Ramsay, famous chef, is known for enjoying unusual local foods around the world. He's made many documentary-kind of episodes talking to farmers, hunters, fishing people, etc., then to people who actually prepare the unusual foods, which he gets to eat and then maybe make something even better. Perhaps you could send him this video and suggest he would like to learn ho cowboys hunt, deal with cows (and whatever animal is found), and enjoy food cooked out in the desert. I can see Ramsey enjoying riding a good horse, learning about roping, and then turning what the bull has surrendered into a fine meal with a great sauce. Also, he and his wife have a lot of kids, so that aspect would be of interest to many. Programs could be broken up to allow viewers to see parties, rodeos, schools teaching young cowboys and -girls, and more. He might want to visit similar activities in New Mexico, AZ, ID (but... not Texas).
It's good that you spend some time with the older boys! Kind of a crazy trip! But you got some things fixed that needed to be done and had lunch at the same time! Found a couple of nice racks too!🐂😂
Another great video guys really enjoyed it. Did bring up memories on the ranch. My aunt would bring a Dutch oven filled with grease and fish fry batter and potatoes and at noon she would start cooking. And thank God she never forgot the ketchup. I started working cows at 6 or 7 years old on my own horse and I am 58 now and still working cows. Thank God
Outstanding video everyone did their part An fixing the water pipeline is very important to Ranching !! Water is gods gift to them that take care an use it for the cattle!!!
I know I know it’s a green thingymabob plant?🤔 Blessings from Texas. Great to see you & the older boys spending quality time exploring. Time well spent.
You guys made me smile and shake my head , I was thinking," run Rio run "when that bull was after him . love the honest of you videos just another day of real ranch life . I'm 76 and you guys keep me entertained
You have made so many every entertaining videos This as got to be one of the funny ranch humor I have seen. This one absolutely great loved it . Working with the wild bull good horsemanship Plus showing some ranch skills . That bull seem not to enjoy you helping him LOL Ram and Rio very clever pair of stock men must come from an good Mother and Father. This go's for all the children Thank for sharing another great video.
Good job running from that steer. Loved all the entertainment. Instead of Rocky mountain oysters, those are desert oysters, lol. Great job guys. Great video
Was looking for one of you to start pawing the ground after lunch. Lol. Glad to see the channel growing bigger. So enjoy watching what you and the family are up to. Thanks for sharing.
That was fun watching, that's a stud buck. That little bull wanted to even the score and I do like a oyster once in awhile, thanks for taking us along.still laughing about run now he can't turn right.
As crazy as it might sound, Enjoyed watching ya all on this adventure... loved the interaction with the bull... but missed seeing my Ridgee Bug... love that little feller..
Now *that* was an hour well spent! Among all the goodness was fuel for the debate I spend an unhealthy amount of emotion upon: What is the proper way to hang your carbine scabbard? The oldest literature with quotes from cattle drive cowboys supports Reo's rig, left side, butt forward. This has always made the most sense to me, especially in areas containing possible hostiles; at the slightest sign of danger, dismount (left side) while pulling out your carbine and moving to keep the horse between you and the threat. In less dire situations, you can stay mounted with your left hand on the reins while you reach over with your right to withdraw your carbine. Ram's rig has the scabbard on the right side, butt backward. This is anathema to me; it undoes all the previous benefits of the proper mounting. But this is the way the scabbard is rigged in virtually all cowboy movies and TV shows. Watching that carbine butt bouncing and thwapping around as our hero gallops across the scene never fails to bring up a little vomit into my throat.
This is one of your very best videos. I watched it when you first uploaded it and thought it was the reason youtube was upset with you. Guess not. Much love to you and your whole family.
Oh geez one of those nail biting ones Scary that bull and all of that! But you guys are always so entertaining! And I’m in indiana and it’s wild that real cowboys do still work the ranches!! So thanks for sharing your lives with us. So glad your channel growing because Laura and you have an beautiful family 💕
Wowza! That's about as cowboy as it gets... form catching a slick-eared bull, branding with a horseshoe and eating fresh mountain oysters. That was great. Pretty sure that was poison oak... JK, I have no idea. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see what's next.
We have loved every episode. I feel like we know your family and could be friends. I love quoting you Ram! Tonight was the best though! "Fill 'em with salt so they taste like salt and not balls"🤣🤣 You are doing a fantastic job teaching your children. I love it!
From a city slicker that was a great video. Not something you see every day but a slice of real life like it used to be. Your boys will grow up to be real men, independent and unafraid. Great job.
How lucky you guys are, My name is Brian from the UK, Came to you via Paul and co at FAB RATS, i am 63 years old and in 1977 joined the buffalo Bills Wild West show here in the UK, this is where i fell in love with riding western, Have been watching your channel for a few days sitting here at work 13 hours a night and man how i would love to be there with you, Great channel here for life, Keep riding high guys, And Thank you,
Lol. You're taking advantage of the nice weather!!! Haha when we take advantage of the nice weather, it's 65 to 70 with no wind. I am in SE Wyoming. Basically I live in a wind tunnnel..
One of your BEST videos yet! Love the ranchin’ on horseback videos ! Definitely is A LOT like my younger days, the running thru the pen to get the bull’s attention is a very familiar one! Was great to see the interaction between you & the 2 oldest boys! It is awesome how Rio is up for anything& is prepared for whatever the situation may be. Great young men that Laura & you are raising♥️ so glad that you came upon that wild bull👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What a great video from the Anchor Ranch boys. Loved the foot race young Rio had taunting the new steer. Laughed my fanny off. You guys are too much fun to watch. Not quite the olden days, but close! Thanks guys. Keep 'em coming!
Ha ha funny when this came into my feed, I was just talking with my nephew about how I used to share the bulls nuts with my dogs as a kid, one for me one for them. Used to grill them up on skewers over the coals fresh from the bulls or take them home for mum to turn into stake, kidney and nuts pie.
What’s awesome video spending precious time with yours boys you have taught them excellent never see anyone eating before you and your wife well manner children and as always you all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It's Monday and I see that it is raining! 🌧🌧🌧Wonderful news! Wonder if swimmin holes increase property value? No matter, just a bunch of new opportunities for the younguns. Much Love to ABR 💜💜💜
I never thought of a salt block table. Grand dad used to cut hogs with his pocket knife. Wipe it off on his pant leg Then peal an apple and share it with all us grandkids. I always thought colt nuts were the best. Great chef’s are not in 5 star restaurants. 🤗🧐🤗
Heard of it but never seen it. Never would have thought about using the salt block. Now I know. Thanks. Aren’t there prairie chickens out there? Could cover the side of a barn with both those racks. Shooting clays too. All the best parts of livin out in the open country. Great video. Cheers.
Bull looses his nuts , the other nuts are eating his nuts, are they nuts, once each nut finally finished eating nuts the older nut says to the younger nut, go untie the mean, now-nutless Bull loose. Never go out out when your nuts as exposed to 100°, that’s just NUTS
Way cool to see you spend good time with your older boys This is definatly one of my favorite ABR post... Real Cowboying All Day Your Sons Are Handy thats for sure!!!
Rio I've used that trick for ever, another good trick for starting a fire is a couple red shop rags or the yellow or green wore out chore gloves, but you still need the lighter. All of which when they start on fire they are virtually impossible to put out with out drowning them in water. The red rags being my favorite as there are many other options from a rag/bandage to TP you just cant go wrong.
Another crackin' video guys, I was going to ask in a previous video whether you cooked the Prairie Oysters, as called 'Sweetmeats' in the UK, if I remember rightly. It is a hard life ranching nowadays, but it is living the life in my book, rather than letting life pass you by. I was pleased to see the rain at last and hope it was enough to replenish the land. D
This is one of your best videos and reminds me of the days I had horseback with my grandpa, brother and my best friend and he's dad. I sure miss those days of working cattle. Especially Mavericks. It's always never a dull moment when your branding Mavericks. Keep the videos coming. Signing off from Fort Apache Arizona.
My husband asked me once I knew what Rocky Mtn. oysters were and if i had ever eaten them. I said yes and no. He ask what I meant, I said yes I knew what they were and no I had never eaten them. He then asked if i was brave enough to eat them. I said when it comes to food I'd try anything once and twice if i liked it, so he took me to a restaurant to try them, I have eaten them several times but never that fresh.
Great day for you all! Am I not looking in the right section at my supermarket? Can’t find the oysters anywhere, even checked the seafood section. Delicacies like beef tongue and chicken gizzards are a rare find these days. My mother-in-law was so happy when I joined the family. Made it worthwhile for her to cook a tongue now and then.
Funny, as I'm watching this I can hear my cows bowling at me and asking to be moved to New lush pasture. Kinda funny. Maybe they know what I'm doing...
This video made me the hungriest of any of your videos that I’ve watched. Back when I was younger both my older brothers and I had small cow herds. Every spring when the morel mushrooms were ready we would have mountain oysters and mushrooms. Big family get together with our parents and kids. (My wife was the only one who fried herself a piece of chicken)
5 star video for sure. This little outing will be told around many of your family gatherings for many years.
One of the BEST videos yet. It was absolutely awesome. I enjoyed the time Dad spending with his boys. This is definitely ranching.🇺🇸
One of the best days for father and sons, you are the men I am 81 wish I was with you all
You guys are living the dream. Taking those boys out there and teaching them life skills
I think that bulls back legs were stepping a little wider as he went down the road!!😂😂 great job guys. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
That was great back to child abuse and harassing cows. I was worried you'd gone soft with all that 🌧 . It's nice to see knowledge being passed on and the joy a father gets from seeing his son run for his life. 😊
I laughed so hard had to share this one with my wife ...grossed her out !! Good men love to see young men who aren't scared
Indeed
Out of all the ranching and farming videos I watch Yours is the hardest working FAMILY. Keep up the good work and be safe.
Now that’s ranchin! Oh to be young and semi fearless again. There about a gozillian kids that will never know how to do half of what them boys can do. You keep teachin as long as they are willing to learn. Great work all of you. Glad my herd is semi tame. Lol.
The plant is an Elder or Common Elderberry. That’s what the app that identifies plants said 🪴👍🏼
If you can’t get another 25k subscribers from this video something is wrong. Another fantastic video!! Those boys will never forget this.
Real cowboys, doing real cowboy jobs. Great family.
Sure beats a 9-5 at a desk in an office. Plz keep us updated on Rileys elbow.
👍one of my favorite so far i think those boys would tackle anything especially with a little encouragement from dad

Was looking for one of you to start pawing the ground after lunch. Lol. Glad to see the channel growing bigger. So enjoy watching what you and the family are up to. Thanks for sharing.
No doubt one of the best. I brag on your kids and they’re not mine. Lol. Hope all is well with Mr Riley
My sentiments are with the bull. It was a tough day for him.
That was fun watching, that's a stud buck. That little bull wanted to even the score and I do like a oyster once in awhile, thanks for taking us along.still laughing about run now he can't turn right.

Hahaha "then run for your life"! Admiring from a distance Philippines.
I'm not sure how yummy it was but you all crack me up how you just do the cowboy thing!!!!💖💖💖
One of your best videos, especially enjoyed your boys dealing with the bull. And the lunch treat 👏👍👍
This is one of your very best videos. I watched it when you first uploaded it and thought it was the reason youtube was upset with you. Guess not. Much love to you and your whole family.

We hope you enjoy the videos
That is interesting that you have done the Wild West show!!
Stick to cowboying not cooking! If Riley had went he would’ve packed some snacks & sandwiches!🤪
Love this type of video!!!
Lol. You're taking advantage of the nice weather!!! Haha when we take advantage of the nice weather, it's 65 to 70 with no wind. I am in SE Wyoming. Basically I live in a wind tunnnel..
Good to see that not only the steaks are eaten and also good to see that the children are learning. Great video

ole amigos very corageus congratulacion ,from jalisco mexico
Nice shooting Ramsey. I shot trap simiprofesionly for about 7 years. Love the impromptu trap shooting. Nice.
I think your boys have bigger mountain oysters than the bull had. LOL I would have loved to spend a day like that growing up with my Dad.
Thats how you cowboy up, thanks guys. Takes me back. LT Morris Idaho. God bless.
You know the part of the antler that is connected to the skull of the buck they make some good knife handles and they sell for a lot of money
I never thought of a salt block table.
Grand dad used to cut hogs with his pocket knife. Wipe it off on his pant leg
Then peal an apple and share it with all us grandkids. I always thought colt nuts were the best. Great chef’s are not in 5 star restaurants. 🤗🧐🤗

Thanks so much for sharing this video with us.
God bless you and your family. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
My favorite episode yet!
PURE. Cowboying and Ranching. Thanks for sharing.

What an eventful day you guys had...thanks for sharing.
The old timer rustlers used to use a cinch ring as a running iron to put their brand on what ever cows they could round up.
Bull looses his nuts , the other nuts are eating his nuts, are they nuts, once each nut finally finished eating nuts the older nut says to the younger nut, go untie the mean, now-nutless Bull loose. Never go out out when your nuts as exposed to 100°, that’s just NUTS
"So it taste more like salt and not like balls" got me rolling🤣🤣🤣
Way cool to see you spend good time with your older boys This is definatly one of my favorite ABR post... Real Cowboying All Day Your Sons Are Handy thats for sure!!!
This is what you call a really rodeo ! Yeehaaa!! Good work boys & dad ! 👍

Great video, the video just getting better and better.
Great video!! You guys are awesome..thank you for the adventure

Thank God for the Anchor Brand Ranch show
God bless your team, my regards to your family from Libya.

This awesome. We would do the same thing back when I was young. Keep it up guys...
I’m so glad you’re back, even though this is a couple months old….all OK, very interesting and entertaining!
This video made me the hungriest of any of your videos that I’ve watched. Back when I was younger both my older brothers and I had small cow herds.
