What's up DIY Fam! I finally have the pattern tutorial for this blazer dress. I had a few requests for this tutorial and here is it!!! Hope you find it useful. Link to the sewing tutorial and other useful videos in the description box ^.^
When I was in design school, I used to watch your tutorials on pattern making. You made it easy to understand than my professors at the time. So THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 💕🙏
Could you do a lining tutorial for a coat please? I really adore your videos. You've taught me so much. My craft has exponentially grown since I've discovered your channel. I am eternally grateful for you sharing your knowledge. Thank you
I want to tell you are an excellent teacher. I can tell the love you have for what you do and that you teach from your heart. thanks a lot. I have learned a lot. Will you use the same technique for a men's Blazer
Hi Priscilla! Thanks for your DIY tutorials really helpful for beginners like me. :) if you have any time I hope you could share how to make a lining for sleeveless or strapless top. Thank you and more power !
Hi Priscilla, excellent video, I am slowly working myself through a lot of your work 👍🏾 Can I ask? When you were tracing front facing out. You connected the waist, hip lines etc, what measurements were you using to connect them. I can see how you connected the facing measurement that is from the shoulder right? I do not know what length to make the waist hip hem line to establish the width of the facing 🤷🏾♀️ Kind Regards Mary
Hello Kim I plan to use your tutorial to create your beautiful jacket which I love. I want to use a stretch fabric so my question is do I still need to add the darts? I plan to start working on the project this week and it's just one of the projects I am making for a party in March. I wear my projects out when I go to big parties to show my work which I am sure you already know you are your own best advertisement so a quick reply would be great. Thanks - Evelyn
Kim pls I need little help. Can you place teach us how to draft a pattern for girl kids aged from 2 to 12. It's something am finding difficult to do please. I'll be very grateful, thanks
Good job Kim Dave, This blazer pattern with basic bodice is easier to understand but the one you did with T- Shirt pattern was not clear to me and the drawing was faint. Can you please use basic bodice pattern and repeat the drafting. Thanks
I need to say that God will bless you more and more . I want looking for this exact pattern my prayer was to find it in your page . I am so haaaaaaaappy 💐💃🏾. But my question is can I make a suit out of this ?
Bless your heart babe. To make a suit version, you can shorten this pattern to where you want it to sit on your waist and make a separate trouser. I have a trouser pattern video already if that helps.

Not really, mens have broader shoulders compared to women so the pattern will be slightly different.

Also... when cutting a revere collar of a coat, why do you usually cut it in half while it goes all the way round the neck to the other side .?
The revere collar can either be cut as one piece on a fold or as two pieces that you sew together to make the full collar.
Ya i very very very enjoy your tutorials so please show me some design to my fashion show 😉😉😉😢😢😢

Here's the sleeve pattern tutorial ruclips.net/video/DcHGf8a1CyM/видео.html
You should sell your patterns on Etsy I would buy them ‼️
I get really confused when you use centimeters
Im not familiar with that
You're so amazing
Why do you always draw your pattern on the paper first... and not directly on the fabric
Because that way I waste fabric from errors, especially if it’s a design I haven’t made before.
You are doing great, but I call this explanation of already cut pattern. How about how to cut from beginning to end.
I love your work but you Use a lot of patterns So it makes it difficult for a beginner like me to follow
With patterns, you waste fabrics less and understand garment construction quicker. But this is just how it works for me, everyone works differently.
