The man called Andrae Crouch inspired me while I was a young black Christian in south africa. He continues to inspire me even in death. Phillipians 1 verse 21 says " for to me to live is Christ, to die is a gain". Fare thee well brother till we meet again.
What a glorious homegoing tribute to Andrae Crouch...RIP and in the Joy of the Lord!...deepest condolences to Sandra and all the Crouch family. God's master musician of gospel heavenly songs. I came to the Lord during those early years singing Andre Crouch & the Disciples songs...will miss him down here but thank God "when we all get to heaven, what a joy and rejoicing that will...it won't be long, we will be leaving here...soon and very soon...."

This man was an anointed and genuine christian minister who took the gospel music to the secular stage and won souls and respect for Christ. He did not compromise. He set the standard. He is the Gold Standard. I am richer by what he gave to us.
there was "Total Praise", and now there's "Let the Church say Amen"...there are very few songs that are so moving in an anthem - like way, that are filled with sincerity and capable of bringing about a true atmosphere of Praise and Worship...this song sends me every time I hear it...it is a declaration and a decree.."Let the Church say Amen". I heard him in my youth & early Christian years but not until recently when I heard the song 'We'll be going home' have I begun to really listen ... his music has so blessed me & I'm reminded how when a person goes to be with the Lord forever, their gift lives on. What is so inspiring is his evident deep love for God.
I saw both services and I am so impressed by the humility of Pastor Andrae and his sister. I am very inspired to seek God for my purpose in life and to endeavor to make a mark for the kingdom of God. Pastor Andrae was a real soul-winner and a genuine man of God. May God get the glory out of our lives and see many souls come to the Lord.

Stevie Wonder attends practically every funeral of Any person(s) who have been instrumental in his life. That's what I truly love about his kind spirit. He is so appreciative and takes relationships to heart. Bless him!
