- Hello again everyone, thank you for waiting as here is the next episode of Pootis Customs.
This episode we'll be looking at me build my 00 gauge Edward model, lots of muck ups and trail and error happens in this video, its also a lot of waffle as I go off on a tangent with other projects. I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and will have a great New Year as well.

This custom is very accurate to Edward’s basis. It does match up to a Furness Railway K2 class.
He looks fantastic, It really looks like edward! its not his exact basis but who cares? It just IS edward and I love it!

In a way, this is A acute Edward as Reverend Awdry actually took this exact class of locomotive and repainted it to be Edward on his Model railway layouts. The fandom wiki can show you.

I have found the perfect way to make N scale Edward and it’s similar to your 00 one here
The grahamfarish P2 with the extra valve-gear and cylinders removed . To make it more Edward looking you also paint it in the Edward colours of blue , red , grey , black & yellow. And the face I don’t know . Probably a clay one or maybe a 3d print , or perhaps a casual plarail Edward fsce could fit .

The more I see your Edward custom the more I want to commission you dawg. I 100% agree Hornby’s Edward is not good in fact, my 2016 Hornby Edward’s build is garbage so I’ve sold him on. The 2016 tender engines are bad but the tank engines are good. Anyways I’m going off topic lol, if I ever did commission you to make an Edward it would probably be a similar basis to yours as your Edward is just amazing. Oh yeah sorry for commenting a year late like I often do, that’s just what I do lol.
Fun fact when hornby was originally going to realese edward and toby in 1990 before it was changed to the 200s hornby was going to use a hornby 2P for their edward model in 1990,but it was canceled and was replaced with the d49 and which made the worst hornby thomas iteam being the monstrosity hornby edward we have now and your edward is peak i might use a midland 2P for my edward model(if i ever get one) great video mate

I give it a 9.9 out of 10 it good but it just how I don't like Edward with the James looking fire box but it just my chose great custom Ryan
Thats fair, this is meant to be what I imagine Hornby would have done if they made Edward around the same time making James for their range with old triang toolings, so they probably wouldn't have changed the firebox

I actually made Henry out of an old Mainline Jubilee ages and ages ago when I wasn't all that good at modelling and wanted to AU headcanon everything, it just makes sense as Jubilees and Black 5s are basically the same and one just has splashers

I have a question what happened to the part where you explained how you fixed the hornby Edward
I only just realised that now haha, but I've basically stuck a new motor in him so he runs fine
i have a good recomendation, use one of those clockowrk thomas' for a good thomas like the ones that used the clockowrk body but arnt clockwork, i have one meself and will make a custom w it
I think I've seen that idea before, the push along ones from the Thomas and Bertie set, I've seen people stick Terrier and Toby chassis under those and they look beautiful
@@numptypootis8012 i got mine with a annie and clarabell im pretty sure those are the ones you customised. its a good idea for the thomas since its what im going to do

Still have o gauge, I've just sort of fallen out with the scale at the minute as it's not as exciting anymore

Did think about doing Toby briefly but never went through with him
Take a class 0 8 chass to do toby or a lema shunter
