Gotta say props to mike peters he did this song justice -it kinda bugs when fans dog on him but he joined the band as a fan and loved big country for the same reasons any fan does. Of course it's hard to appreciate bc in the same way as the glory days but this is a really good performance and has to get credit where credit is due. Of course bruce Watson is probably the only other human on tho planet who can play that incredible riff and with his son on back up and tony and mark on rythymn this is the best you can hope for - would have loved to been at this gig no doubt about it !

Totally agree with you about Mike Peters - BC would never have got back on stage again without his important contribution.

Didn't you read Tony Butler's book ? Mike was a totally divisive and 2 faced person who split the band into factions and turned them against Ian Grant.

Hat off to him and the boys , but for me just nae the same without Mr Adamson. He was such an underrated talent. RIP Stewart 👍

I love Mike Peters and The Alarm's music so was delighted when he joined Big Country but I think they've got a great vocalist now in Simon Hough, he's sounds quite like Stuart.

I didn’t see them at this time but saw them on The Journey Tour. I think Mike Peters was doing a great job and the band was evolving into something interesting. There is a real energy to these earlier shows with MP and of course it was great to have Tony Butler there. I just can’t get on with Simon Hough. Voice is fine, but his stage act (!) just doesn’t do it for me, and they seem content to just do anniversary tours now, which doesn’t appeal to me.
