Very helpful video, when me and my fam go we’re not really reserving all these “higher quality” restaurants and just eat whatever is around. This helps narrow the options.
Haha salads salads salads. 🥗 not many choices. Ive looked hard. The allergy menu is a good start. There are videos of healthier options but sit down rests are ur best option. Im bringing snacks. I eat low carb/keto and an Amazon food order will be my saving grace. When in doubt. POPCORN!!! 🍿
@@bendingunit2716057 ...All you have to do is tell the restaurant you have reservations at..or tell the counter service your allergies. ALSO....TELL YOUR HOTEL YOU ARE STAYING AT!! I can attest.. I am allergic to ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING CORN... and had a wonderful experience!! Chef's literally came out of kitchens to speak to me about menu when we made reservations
As a native Louisianian, I will forever swear by Sassagoula FW&FF!!! Their gumbo and étouffée are authentic! I dined there this year and I can confirm this! Their head chef is from Louisiana!
Will you please do a video of options for people with food allergies? Particularly the top 8 (Milk, egg, gluten, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, soy). I have 6 of the top 8 and it is very hard to food plan for a Disney trip!
I also have many allergies and quick service is just hell. Since you can only pick one allergy, it’s impossible unless you speak to cast members or do menu investigation. I suggest skipping quick service and doing sit down restaurants and check their allergy menus. If they don’t have one online, skip it. Some of the best are 50s prime time, beauty and the beast, and skippers canteen. Imo
I’m a little bummed that you didn’t mention the chicken fried rice from the Yak and Yeti quick service. Seriously such a hidden gem! It’s cheap, delicious, and comes with enough to be a hardy lunch or snack. It’s one of our go tos. Otherwise it was spot on, can’t wait to try some of these when we go in October!
I have to shout out the veggie "sausage" at Casey's Corner. The "Plant-based Loaded Slaw Dog" topped with pickled slaw, barbecue vegan aioli, and roasted corn relish. Comes with fries or a Cuties mandarin (get the fries - nice and crispy!), and is similar in cost as what I paid for basically the same meal at a sporting event at home. I guess Disney prices are comparable to stadium prices.
That's awesome to know! My son has a beef/dairy allergy so vegan works great for him! ❤️😊 We will have to get it without the bun though bc he has a wheat allergy too.
The flatbreads at Kusifari are AMAZING. The chicken and pork are both tender and perfectly seasoned, topped with a fresh spring mix and finely diced heirloom tomato, Persian cucumber and red onion, then topped with either tahini or harissa aoli. All of this in a hot, puffy flatbread, and a generous serving of spiced potato chips. Absolutely DELICIOUS, super filling - and they are around $10!!! Our favorite meal in Animal Kingdom, we will sometimes go to the park just to have these.
6:47 I LOVED the lobster roll when I tried it. Last time I was at Disney, it was one of the few trips I took without sit down dinners and when we were at the Magic Kingdom I had the chance to try the fast food. It was (technically) free as I was part of a High School event and got a lunch voucher for the day.
Have definitely done this on many trips. Saves time and money. I love those character dining and other ADR’s but sometimes they are difficult to reserve or don’t fit your schedule. DFB has helped me find the quick service places I always go to or those I want to try next trip.
I usually find that I have to go to Disney solo and the most uncomfortable issue is eating alone in a sit down restaurants. This sounds like a plan for my future trips to DW.
Magic Kingdom talk. Did NOT know about the GIANT mickey waffle and I WILL be making that a priority next trip. The sweet spicy chicken waffle was really good at Sleepy Hollow and I will be having that again. For anyone who is about to try, the Lady of the Gravestone cake pop had potential but was SO difficult to eat, ask for an extra plate and lots of napkins. At Gaston's you HAVE to ask for extra icing, you will regret not doing so. As someone who does not like hot dogs, Casey's is STILL one of my favorite spots. That vegan dog is DELISH! My husband "AHA I KNEW IT" me when I truly enjoyed the corn dog nuggets too. As for the mickey pretzel, I really hate to say this but am I the only one who always gets a dry, unappetizing pretzel? Cheese doesn't help. I want them to be a favorite snack, but I have yet to really enjoy it. Someone tip me off on the best spot for a WDW mickey pretzel, please.
Casey's Corner has been a family tradition since I was a child. I remember my 1st Disney Trip with my family. The 1st thing we did was have a snack at Casey's Corner with my Grandparents, my parents, my 2 brothers, my sister, and myself back in 1984 if I remember correctly. I've since lost my grandparents and my father over the years. Now that I'm married with 2 children and now have minor sisters (my parents adopted late in life), it's still to this day a must do everytime we go to Disney World. The memories this tradition has made are completely priceless. Thank you for your videos. They do help us look for new dining options make our trips special.
Growing up my family always did table service meals when we went to Disney, and it was always SO STRESSFUL! So how when I take my daughter we only get quick service meals, so much easier and faster! We even tried Tony’s on our March trip and agreed to just go back to online Casey’s corner or Friars nook 😂
Happy Wednesday everyone! Fast food in Disney is pretty good. Places like Cosmic Ray's, Backlot Express, etc, even though is fast food, still comes in handy when on the go or looking for a quick fix!
At the resort I work at, they do have a little bit of everything at their food court, however Rix has some decent food, especially if you order their Watchos. I would eat their again even if I didn't had a discount.
Oh. My. GOD. Sunshine Seasons was a VERY pleasant surprise of our last trip which, because of a large-ish group, consisted mostly of quick service. It's amazing, and if you have peeps that need gluten free (I have Celiac so...) there's still lots to try there.
💯 So much less stressful. We didn't realize how much time we spent eating dinner each evening until we watched a video showing the Magic Kingdom at night. We realized we hadn't seen the MK at night -- or most of the Disney theme parks -- because we were always dining [for hours] at a sit down restaurant. 😱 Now, we QS our trips with only a couple of table service meals. Makes for more time in the parks or relaxing and less time overeating.
Do you take bites of food and spit it out and throw it away like wine tasting sometimes does with wines? How do you keep your figure while having to taste all this food for your blog? I know you have other employees but still there is a lot of food out there.
It takes us 5 years to save up for a trip, so quick service is all we can afford. However, that’s not a complaint, as there is lots of choice and it’s good food.
OMG the polite pig was one of our FAVORITE places to eat at Disney. We went back two nights in a row because we couldn't stop thinking about it. Best Mac and cheese!!
Wow, I just discovered your channel and I have to say that you have a very good commentator/presentator voice. Excellent video and close up shots of the food !
I travel solo and I only eat fast food , I don't worry about making reservations etc... just eat when I want . less stress and still eat good (in my opinion works for me) .
I have a sensory processing disorder that makes table service restaurants (with their noisy atmospheres and their lighting) more difficult for me. So every year when I go to Disney, I stick to quick service and to-go so I can find a quiet calm place to eat (although I do have to sacrifice A/C sometimes 🥵) So I love the to-go options at sit-down places!!! I have done it at Olivia’s and Sanaa and it works great! I wouldn’t be able to eat at them otherwise.
I don't know if we got lucky but our dinner at sanna was soooo peaceful and quiet. We have a few with SPDs in our family and have learned that the first seating at opening for lunch or dinner tends to be much quieter, calmer, and quicker. For dinner this only works if they're closed for lunch or between lunch and dinner.
Have you read my mind? I'm wanting a Fast Food, Quick Eats trip to WDW. In fact this evening I was making a list of where we can eat. Then I checked for new updates, and you have saved me a lot of time!! Off to enter my email address now 😃

Thank you for this! I’m going to disneyworld with a friend in November. I’m a picky eater and she is not. I told her I like to go to fast foods to save time and money. I want to tell her about the best, but I have my favorites, and I don’t think many of them are the best. And she thinks I know a lot about Disney World. This gave some great ideas…and I found things I would eat, or may try!
@@NinthShinigami thank you! I’m so excited to go with my friend. It’ll be interesting because I’ve been 6 times solo since 2015 (2 of those part solo and part with family)(before that, I think 7 times not-solo), and she has only been once in the past 10 or 15 years or something like that. She thinks I know a lot, and I do know quite a bit, but I feel I don’t know some things I should - like the best food. Gotta love being a picky eater haha Hope you have a great trip too!
Thank you for this. Me and my family are going to WDW in about 3 months (For Halloween) without counting my mom and dad, we have a family of 8 so having to get a dining reservation for 10 people (in all) is a hassle (and is alot)
I love this. A few years back (just before pandemic), I went nuts trying to find a “fast food” place for my picky kid who was determined to have mozzarella sticks or cheese sticks for a meal. No DFB video or posting could help me for this very specific item and I finally asked a cast member who suggested I try the Parks app and then casually noted that he didn’t think ANY locations in ANY park had this specific item. He recommend I search resort dining or Disney Springs and search for where they offered French Fries and greasy fried goodness. I found ONE location on the Boardwalk after calling ahead several places. I never thought part of my Disney trip would be spent tracking down one food item, especially since I had planned so much dining already. It all worked out and the excursion out of the park made for a nice exploration and one happy kiddo.
Please slow down your commentary. I do like how well you cover the many places for good fast food . You give us very good information which is helpful .
Do you have any tips or places to eat that is good for diabetics? We are going December 2023 and my husband was just diagnosed. So sad seeing all the amazing food items knowing he can’t eat them except for the occasional treat.
I rarely ever get any dining reservations because they seem like they would take a long time and are even more expensive than the already expensive fast foods
We gave up ADRs a long time ago. Usually we will do just one nice sit down. There really are a lot of great QS options if you know where to go.. at least there were pre-covid
Any mention of the old Main Street Bakery pre- Starbucks always makes me think of that FROZEN COFFEE! There was just something about it. Coffee frapps just aren’t the same…
As we were watching this video, my husband and I said that AJ needs to set up a hotline! Lol! When our dining reservation was not what we expected on our last trip (our fault), we could have picked up the phone and asked where should we go now?! Thanks for these videos AJ and team. I wish we could memorize them all!
Hi ! I really love DFB videos and have been watching them for a couple of years now planning an ever postponed WDW trip. I have just one small critic on this one : it is crammed with very valuable information, and restaurants names are popping extremely fast, so it would have been really helpful to title the restaurant names on screen. As a foreign Disney Park fan who is almost bilingual, I still struggled to catch some of the names, and had to go back over some of them. Have pity of us international fans ! :p Thank you nonetheless for everything you're doing !
I know your comment is over a year old, but I'm a type 1 for 50 years now planning my first DW trip since the late 70's. I live on the West Coast so I've got low carb eating down at DL and DCA. Can you recommend a video or website that breaks down best low carb options in all 4 parks?
I hate that I've worked in culinary because it KILLS the magic, so many of these things are very obviously canned and frozen, like stuff from IHOP, even their not so fast food spots
I don’t trust anyone that thinks that chicken guys mac & cheese is excellent mac & cheese. It was the driest most flavorless mac & cheese I’ve ever had in my entire life.
Harambe marketplace does amazing counter service food. I know they have limited opening hours but I feel that it should have been on the list for animal kingdom. The beef ribs have been amazing whenever I’ve eaten there.
In 2007, we did the standard dining plan. In 2012, we did the QS Dining plan... SO MUCH LESS STRESS! and it's the only way i do WDW now... I do one character breakfast each time and maybe one other ADR... I'm going in 2023 to celebrate retirement and I am SO hoping for Breakfast at Garden Grill. WDW? BRING IT BACK!
The people who work at Disney World looked miserable. It's the worst place to work. The people working there looked like " why did God put me on this Earth, I have a miserable existence" Many of these people are overworked and underpaid, while Disney the company makes trillions of dollars.
I wish y’all would make a video of the best foods at Disney period. I don’t care personally if we eat sit down quick service or fast food. I just want to know where has the best food overall. They category of service isn’t so much a factor for me. I’d just like to know where the best food at Disney is period.
I know this is a relatively older video at this point but as a cast member at Pecos Bill, you can view the full menu on the my Disney experience app and everything but the Big Al’s Double Bacon Burger can be made vegetarian. In my humble opinion, the best thing on the menu is either the Walking Taco or the nachos with pork carnitas instead of beef.
We've been to Disney so many times and have only eaten fast food. It's just not worth it to us to spend our precious disney time sitting down at a restaurant. Plus, there are SO many amazing snacks, bites and quick service offerings that we honestly feel like that is where we would rather put our money. Sharing many yummy unique foods throughout the day is so much more fun than throwing it all at one meal imo.
We did a mix of quick service and table service on our last 2 ttips: Sept 2021, we did dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, lunch at Regal Eagle and dinner at Rose and Crown. On our May 2022, we did Homecoming and Fǃame Tree BBQ. We plan to do the same on our end of November trip.
there’s just something so amazing about AJs passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge about Disney that makes me absolutely love watching DFB on repeat 🤩
same, me to!
still can't believe Disney sold out to Starbucks to replace the Disney Bakery on Main St! So sad.
Stop, Starbucks is the best one at Disney World and the other places

I’d love a plant-based version of this video
Yesss
Kefta and hummus at Docking 7 in Hollywood Studios is worth a stop!
That strawberry shortcake in Sunshine Seasons is sooooooo delicious!
It's a death trap for diabetics
It’s too fast even for native English speakers!
I guess that I have to take my insulin shot with me 😂😂
I know your comment is over a year old, but I'm a type 1 for 50 years now planning my first DW trip since the late 70's.
I live on the West Coast so I've got low carb eating down at DL and DCA.
Can you recommend a video or website that breaks down best low carb options in all 4 parks?
lol it’s a joke but good vudeo
I hate that I've worked in culinary because it KILLS the magic, so many of these things are very obviously canned and frozen, like stuff from IHOP, even their not so fast food spots
When I worked for WDW MK Paycoes Bills was a hamburger 🍔 and fries spot with a salad 🥗s wow how times have changed
Not me thinking it was going to be about the fast food for ex.. McDonald’s
I don’t trust anyone that thinks that chicken guys mac & cheese is excellent mac & cheese. It was the driest most flavorless mac & cheese I’ve ever had in my entire life.
Great job, Cassie!👍🏻
If anyone lives near Disney, I would recommend going to manny’s original chophouse it is the best place to get most meats
Harambe marketplace does amazing counter service food. I know they have limited opening hours but I feel that it should have been on the list for animal kingdom. The beef ribs have been amazing whenever I’ve eaten there.
Is there any other way..After all it's called Vacation..Live it up..
POLITE PIG IS horrible. Being a MEMPHIS native...this place is gagable!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!! Live here in Orlando now and tried with hopes...OMG! HORRID!
Do you still have the free PDF available? I tried to use the link to find it and it wasn't available.
Guys I can’t wait to go to Disney world in November I’m so Excited 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
The people who work at Disney World looked miserable. It's the worst place to work. The people working there looked like " why did God put me on this Earth, I have a miserable existence" Many of these people are overworked and underpaid, while Disney the company makes trillions of dollars.
So Tonga Toast is if french toast and a churro had a baby while vacationing in the tropics?
A cup of 'plastic cheese' on the side....lol Maybe a 'plastic cup' of cheese.?
We did a mix of quick service and table service on our last 2 ttips: Sept 2021, we did dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, lunch at Regal Eagle and dinner at Rose and Crown. On our May 2022, we did Homecoming and Fǃame Tree BBQ. We plan to do the same on our end of November trip.
