At the drift track they just have the Tokyo drift jingle on repeat 24/7.
Now that is what some of these dying malls need to revive the traffic. Cool electronic stores and RC stores. Get boys and dads, and of course some girls and Mom's to feel excited to go to the mall again. Right now, my wife would have to drag me or my son to go there. If they had a cool RC store, we would jump at the chance just to go do some browsing and dreaming about the next car or upgrades. Having the working display is crucial for this type of business. Some people see these expensive RC's and have no idea what they're capable of. Good video, enjoyed.

I'm glad some malls are going back to adding activities/attractions again vs just using every inch of the mall for retail space. I remember when our mall used to have an Ice skating ring, movie theater, and arcades.

The mall owners are smart. This is the future of malls. Not shopping, which has moved largely online, but multiuse activity space.
Add a gym, basketball court, racquet ball, bowling, cornhole, batting cages, mini driving range, barber shop any type of these facilities would work.

This shop is so sick! Since there is so much open space in that shop, I would set up one display for nitro cars and one for brushless electric cars. I'd place them with the bodies off to the side so that people, especially kids, can see the differences and ask questions. I remember when I was a kid and saw the nitro cars with their little gas tanks, fuel lines, and cooling head I freaked out immediately!

Albany oregon has a massive indoor shop with I think 8 diffrent tracks for oval, crawling, short course, stunt course, flat track. Its an awesome place. Nw hobbies and its in the mall as well

Yooo!! That store is AWESOME! That scale display with that blue Chevy truck, the Matco TOOLS tool dolly, etc is SO sweet. Man... Im just looking at it imagining all the time and effort the person that built it put into it. All of the displays are really nice but for some reason, that one in particular really stood out to me.
I'm all the way in Michigan, but if I am out in the San Antonio area for some reason, I HAVE to stop and check that place out. 👍🏼🔥🤟🏻💯👍🏻

I'm in SATX and didn't know about this... they used to have a really small shop that catered to 1/8 nitro with a decent track... offroad dirt racing is dead in SA.... Now it's all indoor offroad carpet and the nearest track is 2hrs away.

It's nice. Not near as big but between RCHQ and ACHS, they pushed hobby town out. ACHS holds events outside their shop. They claim the whole parking lot on those nights. It's really nice. Jorge is a great guy and loves the hobby. I'd say he single handedly brought RC back to life in San Antonio.
I believe the pink drift car was a 240sx s14.
U4 is Ultra 4 and it is like King of the Hammers and all the ones you mentioned Bomber, Laser Nut, and many more, are you sure Tekno has made a Ultra 4 car I keep up with all things KOH and Baja plus Short Course RC racing. Probably the rock section is part of the U4 'Ultra-4' track as it is raced in the desert on the rocks through water and forests etc. Doe's the guy who made you the TRAXXAS UDR 3D printed stand and is he going to sell them and make one for the SBR/SRR as I would buy both as I am fed up with not being able to work on them properly as they fall off normal stands.

Looks like a super cool spot. But it does looks like they're lacking a bunch of parts other than the stuff for the mini Zs. That indoor track is super cool, looks to be just the right size for those cars.
Yep, mostly just inventory that supports our activities so far and some RTRs for the new people. The bulk of our inventory is still at our other location along with parts and service. We're moving over completely in a few months.
