Hi, glad to see another Onstat dyno engine buyer! That is my video at 3:50 with the LRP ZR32X. Wanted to say that the engine was ok, no damage was sustained from the dyno run. I had set it with no idle gap. It is my error for not mentioning in my video. I have noted that the high speed needle needs to be 1/2-1/4 turn richer than when in a vehicle, otherwise it does run very lean at top end. I assume this is due to the dyno allowing the engine to achieve higher RPMs than it would in a vehicle with drivetrain and ground friction. Look forward to more videos and do share any further wisdom you obtain. I am always learning!
Hello Sir, good to hear your LRP wasn't damaged. My engine got destroyed on the first pull. Think they didn't give you the info to pull the engine plate either. If you let of the throttle and the clutch keeps engaged, the engine is reving to high on to little lubrication. Now with the one way bearing it works the way it should be imo. The engine drops down to idle. Luckely my buddy from Finland found me a piston sleeve replacement set. Onstat payed for the damage so that's really good. Yes, a dyno tune is different from a car tune. Definitely much richer. The inertia weight is much lighter and the rotating force makes it easier for the engine. I was looking forward to more videos from you. Too bad you don't make those anymore. What happened? If you start testing again make sure you pull that engine plate. Hate to see your engine get destroyed. It's a learning curve for everyone. Cheers.
Great and interesting stuff, I do motorsport engines which get engine dynod, then rolling road. Always loved RC, great hobby and very educational regarding engines and chassis/suspension tuning
Awsome, I am very impressed, very clean job, the oneway bearing system, the brakes, the engine plate, everything is looking perfect. A shame they didnt send you the video on how to use the dyno.. its very sad for the r5r wich is a great engine. I cant wait to see the umpcoming videos this is going to be very interesting.
Thank you my friend. I wish they did send me the video. A question would arise immediately. And i wouldn't have destroyed my favorite Reds engine. It's very sad when a piston sleeve set is nowhere to be found. But i'm glad i got it working the way i want it to work. It's going to be very interesting and we are gonna learn a lot.
Kings, that is a great improvement ‼️ I’m with you, you need to be able to trust the dyno and all of the components of it. It looks like you have a solid system now 💯 Awesome work I’m really looking forward to see your future test 🩷
It's much better with these mods. With extra costs of only 10% of the dyno price. The added weight and friction (maybe even oneway bearing slipping) will have effect on the numbers. But for comparing it's perfectly fine. The computer and sensors are very sensitive and pick up the slightest difference. Very good. Thanks for the comment buddy 👊
Hi Kings Racing. Nice to see some else doing dyno on nitro engines. I built my own inertia dyno and tested some .21 offroad engines. I use simpledyno software. If you want, I can send you some pictures of my setup and dynocharts. Regards Kristian from Denmark
Hi Kristian , Nice to hear you have your own setup too. For comparing i have no use for your charts. I see you don't have anything on your channel. Ever thought about uploading some video's on your dyno? It would be great content. Appreciate the comment and you watching.
@@kristianmadsen1397that's nice to hear. I just saw your video. I prefer a square engine like the 303. I just like the feeling of a square engine. Plenty bottom end and smooth power delivery.
Hello Kings Racing! Im glad you beautifly modified the Dyno Ive been anxious to see your new testing videos! Please test if an air filter robs horsepower. Also the increase with ceramic bearings and high nitro content. Thank you!
awsome vid i hope the company compensates u for the engine there dyno destroyed awsome to see how u rigged it up to work u da man kings and yes i agree should never have to pull plate to detach the engine thats definatly not how a dyno works love the upgrades u did to this nice job brother

King's My Brother. Brilliant design.just send them a bill for brilliant design and sell them your design along with a contract for sponsorship. 100k a year sponsorship should be suffice 😂😂 ok enough of the jokes Great job and design you came up with My Friend.very unique and professionally done Sir.now come up with a brake for clutch bell and stop using your finger. 1sharp burr and its gonna be a metal splinter and i can tell you it hurts like a mo fo 😂😂 can't wait for so action on track and Dyno videos . patiently waiting 😂 Top notch as always Brother 👊👊 🔥🔥🔥🔥
What up Carl. Thanks. Yeah, i will need to patent it, but that's too much hassle for only 100K a year😆 I only need to stop the clutchbell when i Install the engine plate. Think my finger will manage.😅 I don't touch the clutchbell after the pull. This is gonna result in very interesting information. Appreciate the comment brother👊

So sad to hear that you burn the engine and it was Onstat's fault. Dyno looks great though. Is that Reds piston/sleeve part number ES214987 ?? I think that I know one set (not from my engine 😁), if the stock situation is correct.
Thanks buddy. Yeah, it really sucks. The partnumber is ES214986. It's from a Reds r5r racer 5.0 (ENBU0025). Got this partnumber from Marco Rossi at Reds. Think there are several numbers, ES214985, ES214986 and apparently ES214987. Didn't know about the 87 and not know if the 85 or 87 will fit or what the difference is. I can't find neither of those. I could take the risk and see if those other ones fit. Let me know were the 87 is. Thanks
Thanks brother. Yeah, if there is no piston sleeve sets for this engine it's very sad. These mods cost only 10% of the dyno price. And it's 100 times better imo. Appreciate the comment 👊
Hey buddy if I paid u could u make me them parts u have ? I have the same dyno here at the house . Do u have a email i can contact u at . I pay for it i really dig the setup .
What up bud. Did you get the instruction video with the dyno? Hope you didn't destroy an engine. Unfortunately i can't do that. I'm a busy man and like i said, i'm no metal worker and this took me a lot of time. It also would get very expensive with all the material, parts, labour and overseas shipping. Maybe you have a local metal worker or machine shop that could make this. Or maybe ask the guys from OnStat. I'm sure either of them can make this better and cheaper than me. Keep me posted.

Isn't it a direct connection? What is the result of measuring the increase after passing through the reduction gear?
It's connected through a 13t clutchbell and 52 spur. It measures/calculates rpm, hp and torque on the flywheel
@@kings-racing This looks like a test wheel result, not an engine test?
@@treasurekapo7306the flywheel is powered by the engine
