Hi Kathy! Yes, the fabric changes the look of all of our patterns so easily. We have a couple videos we've done in more detail demonstrating how they look. Search on RUclips for 3-yard quilt different patterns same fabric 😊
Just a comment about directional fabrics: I had to repair a well loved quilt border because it was always used at the top of the bed and pulled under my daughter’s chin. After that, I occasionally flip every other row in a directional pattern on a quilt so that the top and bottom can be either, top or bottom when put on a bed or used.
