Did you have a problem with mold when you re-inflated in the spring?

After your video did you see you need to deflate it with the pump and then it will go into the bag? I have done it fir several winters, works great.

I’d be lying if I said no. So back story, I misplaced all the parts that came with this thing. Finally found them all midway through the summer in a bag that was stashed in my shed. Funny, after I made the video I figured I must have been missing something.

So this was basically an advertisement for a submersible pump that isnt really needed to drain the hot tub. But it will come in handy when you need to drain all or some of the water in your above ground pool.

Use you wet vac start it then pull the plug and it will siphon or use the hose it will dump that tub in short order.

Shame - would have been nice to use it during the winter. Great video!

Yeah that was the plan but this thing isn’t made for it. The water was like bath water that was sitting in a tub too long. If the heater was more powerful, you could probably use it all winter. Thanks for watching

I wasn’t expecting this but apparently my 6 person came with an inflatable cover for long term purposes and insulation i guess. Weird because my buddy bout one a month after me but his cover doesn’t inflate he just has the bladder and a regular cover that buckles to the side. Im hoping since my hot tub is in a porch if I enclose the screen with plexiglass hopefully it will help keep the hot tub functioning through the winter.

The best place for one of these up North in the winter is if you are not using one stall of a garage you can make a nice little set up, or you can put it in a gazebo. Put a little underlay underneath the hot tub and use the cover when not in use and they do just fine. When it is being used the temperature will not drop enough to even notice especially since you should only spend no more than a half hour to 45 minutes in a hot tub anyway. The porch is a good idea but if your porch is off ground do be careful because when the tub is full it weighs 2,100 pounds and that’s a lot of weight. A garage works great.
