The whole Gundam series is truly blessed with great composers. Seed has Toshihiko Sahashi, 00 has Kenji Kawai, Gundam the Origin has Takayuki Hattori, and Iron Blooded Orphans has Masaru Yokoyama.
I believe what everyone is reffering to is the Game Uhdr hunt that will have completely animated cutscenes? Not sure if it will be published like a spin-off, unless these are two completely unrelated projects
tekketsu no orphans have ruined gundam forever for me, no other gundam show gets even close, to the grit, the reality, maybe its the future but war its the same, child soldiers, colonies, governments that bend their own laws with the dumbest of excuses, i just dont want another gundam anime, i want another tekketsu

I enjoyed Thunderbolt, I liked War in the pocket a LOT, but the storyline with IBO is simply outstanding to me, no express instant noodle romances ruining the story with the excuse of "newtyppe" nonsense, no side changing just because dumbness, no mobile suits treated like skateboards, no cheap, ridiculous, out of nowhere deaths that make your eyes roll, no meaningless mobile suit action just because "deploy the gundam", no newtype space magic, no useless overly naive peace princess. It's a well written, relatable sad story of war, so far the only one where the conflicts were actually solved with diplomacy at the end too and let's not forget about the amazing mecha designs, animation is top, Mika is actually likable as a character, BARBATOS, Flauros... wow. Maybe it's "too different" or "not a real gundam" for many, but for me it's a favorite for sure, I'd be glad if they made future series more like this one and less like the worst the UC has to offer. My main complain is the way they totally wasted the Flauros, gave it the coolest intro, just to toss it aside, epically, but damn too soon for me XD No matter how hardcore of a fan of gundam you are, I think it's also important to recognize and break foolish tropes that keep the franchise from evolving and getting better. I totally understand your point :)
@@Stervelar IBO for me its not only a masterclass in anime, but a masterclass in story telling, the last arc from you know who death with his blood still flowing forwards and the last fight of thr barbatos, holy fuck that last fight of the barbatos, thats some john wick levels of being a terrifying menace, and no anime in the genre comes even close, i found eighty six very lacking in comparision for example, very good symbolism, a engaging and happy ending story, but sometimes you gotta give your characters an ending, shin doesnt come even close to mikazuki, shin its an edgyboy that its maddened by the battlefield, mika its a thing, he is a weapon since he was very little, how he behaves how he fights, from cap 1 its just masterclass in character depiction of a ruthless child soldier

I love this show, but how it ended was really disappointing. It should have ended with tekkadan getting destroyed, but Mikazuki and Akihiro surviving the battle with Gjallarhorn.
Absolutely wrong imo. The entire point was buying time and freedom for everyone else. Slaughtering everything they fought for would leave them literal human debris with absolutely nothing left to love in the world. The end had meaning because it was an act of love, sacrifice, and redemption. Tekkadan ended, but the people survived.
