- Whats up Bros? It is VPR night and Ariana finally goes off on Sandoval this episode. Katie and Schwartz have a conversation about her hooking up with Max, but weirdly this seems to have brought the two closer. Some could argue they were flirting... The gang has a water tasting party at James and Ally's and Ariana goes off on Sandoval. It seems as though a lot of pent up anger towards him finally spills out and rightfully so. However we disagree slightly with the attempted dog murdering thing seeing as Ariana is the one that left the trash out. The beach day that takes place later goes exactly the same and its becoming clear that the line in the sand is much more definitive. Ariana and Sandoval cannot be around one another. She goes off once again and calls out the group for attempting to force these situations and to force some kind of peace between her and Tom... It will not happen but it appears that a lot of members of the group are getting somewhat tired of Ariana refusing to move on (its only been 6 months). It seems as though there may be some strain on the group as a whole.
People are inherently uncomfortable watching women be angry. Ariana’s job is to make everyone else feel comfortable regardless of how she is feeling. I am proud of her for having the courage to honor her own feelings, not feel responsible for anyone else and heal at her own pace. Tom did a horrendous thing to her and publicly humiliated her. As far as I’m concerned, she can “get over it” when she’s good and ready!

Women get called all sorts of things unfairly for their righteous anger - but little is said about men's anger that often leads to DV & murder other than what a great guy they were [before they committed a violent crime].
Stassi has said multiple times they always gave Sandavol a good edit, to make him look better.

I think it’s crazy that after what he did to her - people are at all bothered by her having an emotion. God forbid a women be anything but nice and accommodating. Her behavior compared to SO MANY people in bad breakups is so micro. Cars get keyed and clothes get burned for less than what he did. lol (not me but I know some stories).

He helped Sandoval with his subtle Ariana smear campaign in season 10 & made callous underhanded jokes about the situation too. He is way more conniving than he appears on the surface. If he caught a stray it was only because he's an accessory to the crime.

I don't think Ariana feels full of herself or queen of the group. It had only been 4 months, and those brand deals could have easily dried up. I think she felt confident in the friend group and naively believed they would stand with her like they said they would. These ppl supported her all hiatus and she felt secure in them seeing her side. Now she knows better....
What’s ridiculous is she thought it should last so long! This is months after the news and reunion - she needs to get herself into a better mental place. She’s dragging her baggage around like a dead body and expecting for everyone to not eventually complain about the stench… it’s ridiculous.
Let it go, or move to another state and leave the show. You don’t get it both ways. This isn’t everyone forgiving Tom, this is everyone moving on with life. She wants everyone staying in the same place, helping her drag the dead body baggage around… it’s childish and unnecessary.
I think in hindsight the show should have gone on hiatus , let ppl heal… however that wasn’t the case. It’s hard to see how poorly Ariana is getting treated by some of her “ friends”. It’s not easy to get over a 10 year relationship , esp when a friend was a part of its downfall. That’s double betrayal. Anyone who thinks this is easy and to get over it is heartless imo.

When Ariana said the Schwartz thing at the water tasting she was laughing, I think it was more of a joke. I don’t understand why ppl say she’s not open to hearing other’s viewpoints. Do you not remember the last 9 episodes of everyone coming to her and talking about Sandoval and her listening and not getting mad? Of her not getting mad at Lala for contacting Rachel. Of her not getting mad at Scheana for saying to her face I can’t hate him for you. Of her not getting mad at Lala for pushing back about the bday party and after Tahoe and Ariana taking her advice. Everyone has been bringing shit to her all season and she’s been reasonable and open to it all. HE should be the one that always feels awkward & out of place in the group not her.

I think the dog murder also has to do with the fact that her other dog - who needed meds - died while under Tom's care - when she was on that infamous Vegas/Havasu trip with Rachel
Also like her door to her garbage filled room WAS fully closed, the dog shouldn't have been able to get to the leftovers but Tom opened the door and shut the dog in
Sandoval left food and alcohol out all night in the kitchen a couple of episodes ago for Ann to clean up the next day and Mya didn’t get into any of it because Ariana was watching her. Sandoval says Mya gets into things. It’s fine to put her in a room when you need to but check the room first if you actually care about your dog, which Sandoval claims to. Ariana knows Mya can’t open doors. 🤷🏼♀️
Sandoval JUST argued with Ariana about WHO owns the dog and cat. But by YOUR logic he's not responsible for the dog's well-being. Jfc. Stop it.

Here is my thing 1 it’s literally only been 4 months since this whole thing blew up. This is someone you were with for almost a decade and was considering to be a life partner with you even compromise yourself and your beliefs for this person and they blew your life up and say the reason behind it is ALL YOU. There is a lot to process here and it’s not gonna unpack in 4 months. 2 I’m not a therapist but from someone who was in a similar situation Sandoval is a Narcissist he is manipulative he is vindictive and he will do anything to make her look bad and she knows it. The rage is because she knows what he’s doing and everyone actively taking his side when he’s the one that caused the action hence why she always brings it up. I don’t think she thinks she’s better than the group but here is someone who has actively manipulated her put her down told her she needs therapy all the things that come along with being with a narcissist and the reactive abuse that comes with it. 3 an example of Tom’s vindictive behavior is the dog he just got done saying basically Ariana doesn’t take care of the dogs he does she does nothing she doesn’t wake up past 1 pm no one even caught this crap he saying and then he takes the dog and puts the dog in her room. Like Ariana said. She makes sure to close the door behind her. She did not expect anyone to go in her room. They never let her know. Maybe if Sandoval had Anne communicated to Ariana before he went in, then she could have told Anne to make sure to take out the food and make sure that her dog doesn't get locked in. Sandoval just went in and left the dog in there for hours. Why shouldn't she be angry. I completely understand her meltdown. Maybe trying to call 911 was a little over the line but her emotions took over. I loved that confrontation. I love anything that makes Sandoval squirm. I do want Ariana to come back, so she could give the middle finger to him and everyone on his side, especially Lauren.

I can understand why some people might think it’s Ariana fault for keeping the food in her room. However she did explain that she shut Maya out of her room for a reason and she was practically living out of that room so I can understand having a take out box left on her nightstand. Also in the extended and uncut version and also the after show, tom argues that Maya his dog as well, so I’m more concerned of how he didn’t notice Maya wasn’t around and doing breathing exercises?? (Whatever that was) while Ariana took the dog to the emergency vet.

From Scheanas podcast - Scheana and Brock were in Australia just after Christmas for some festival event Scheana had a gig at. Clarified that he was now up to date with the child maintenance. He was not permitted to see his kids and he was in tears about it. Brock learning that there's big consequences to abandoning his kids - physically and financially. There is no timeline to him being allowed access - he's not even allowed phone calls. Telling!
Broke makes no sense. Remember he is still estranged from his kids. He is horrible to Scheana.

Finding out Scooter’s government name was more shocking than finding out as a child that my parents had government names.
Who would ever want to hang out with their ex that they were with for 9 years who had a long term affair with their close friend, including in the home that they shared? Ariana doesn’t ever to be ok around Sandoval IMO but it would certainly take much longer than 4 months to heal from that type of betrayal. Also, every podcast and interview he does he says horrible things about Ariana and never expresses remorse for how he treated her. He’s expresses more sadness that Rachel ended their relationship. And they do continue to give Sandoval a positive edit. Watch the Viall Files with the Toms. That’s the real Sandoval IMO.
I think her telling Schwartz to leave was to protect her own peace, not some domination of the group dynamic.

The cast is pushing her because that was probably a condition of Sandovals return. Remember Rachel saying that he was offered a producer credit? Well I don’t think it was exactly that but I think he was promised a redemption arc at all costs. Even if the cost was throwing Ariana under the bus. This is producer driven.

If you want an update on Brock and his kids they go into on one of the Scheananigans podcast episodes. Summary is he’s up to date on child support but his kids do not want to see him and they are old enough to make that choice. He continues to reach out and things have improved but his kids still say no. They have a wonderful step dad that they consider their father. The discussion was actually very interesting and moving and Brock took full responsibility which was nice.

In my industry, all companies competed for the heavy hitters. If you were good at your job, companies called you regularly to entice you to go to work for them. Tom Sandoval needs to bring up that he allowed the air conditioning repair man into Ariana's room. He went in to empty the disgusting litter box and fix the AC. It's cruel to make a cat use a litter box without cleaning it. I think Tom walking down his own hallway and overhearing his assistant, who is on the clock, speaking with Ariana does not qualify as eavesdropping. I would have fired Ann. Sandoval has been doing this kind of stuff, like chasing the pizza man for ranch dressing, paying for someone else's engagement party, giving money to friends in need, etc since Season 1. THIS IS NOT NEW! Yes, he was a real jerk; however, crucify him for that instead of non-deserving things. And it's gross to leave leftover food in your room. Next, Sandoval will be crucified for letting the exterminator in to get rid of the ant infestation. Finally, I don't see Lala coming from a place of jealousy. She just wants to protect her bank. Ariana has other means of making money. Perhaps the rest of the cast doesn't have the same opportunities, other than podcasts discussing Sandoval's affair. It's not fun to watch the aftermath of this.

I’m not sure how hard this is to understand but when you have a pet, you close the doors, you don’t want them to get into because they don’t have hands to turn and open the door so if she left anything in her room or it could’ve been in the garage The door was closed when she left that’s where her responsibility ends… the fact that he went into her room and locked. The dog in the room is not her responsibility and everybody doesn’t throw stuff in the garbage. Some people have food, especially when they’re sequester to their room. People are getting caught up on preferences, but either way it was his fault. Did he do it on purpose no, but it’s silly to me. I agree with a lot of what you two are saying, but I will also say if Ariana leaves the show I probably won’t watch it anymore as I don’t find any of the other people interesting other than Katie.
There’s so many other good shows on TV that I can move over to and VPR won’t be one of them so I do hope this is the last season, and I think that’s why people are buying houses in the valley so they could hopefully jump onto that show, but even if they do, I just don’t think it will be the same chemistry that VPR had and I’m just ready to move on from this VPR cast.
