Half tail meets a new boy, who seems to want to challenge him, in Mara North Conservancy.
The young boy now even starts to rub his head against the same bushes where Half tail before was seated. This is an affront for Half tail and the boy very brave
And here’s a male lion, not belonging to this pride, breaks into the scene and start to fight with these lions.
and finally the stranger male lion takes the baby buffalo and run away, leaving the rest of the pride without a prey, and the buffalo mother with nothing to fight for! This is the harsh law of nature.

I liked this video and music at night with the glowing eyes. The lion prince is very poised and aristocratic. He walks gracefully like a danseur(a male ballet dancer). I think Half Tail is impressed with him. Is Half Tail a lone dominant male? If he is, then I think that Half Tail is thinking about inviting the Acacia prince to join him in a coalition.
Actually there was a hunt planned with Half Tail and pride thick in action. Acacia Boy came out of nowhere so Half Tail just didn't want to disturb the momentum so that the Buffalos should not escape. It is all about meal not confrontation. As the video capture is for a short period..doesn't tell the whole story.

Why does half-tail allow it without punishing right away?
Someone mentioned they thought HalfTail was tired and did not want to be over a pride anymore, this would make perfect sense. I guess they knew what they were talking about. It sure seems this way.

Hasn't half-tail ever been in a fight before or what? What he let happen would just about be the same as if you're laying on the couch watching TV one night while your wife or girlfriend is already in bed. Then some guy walks into your house takes a peek at you on the couch & you tell him "the old lady is already in bed waiting for me but you go ahead & have at it & there's leftovers in the fridge when you're done & don't forget to lock the door on your way out"
He's very strong and smart but unlucky he lost his partner ,pride , lioness and son
